Let me start by saying i'm a huge fan of LaDawn's! I have been to multiple weddings and events that have had cakes or cupcakes made by her. I have never been disappointed, it seems like everytime it's better than the last. I would definitely recommend LaDawn's cakes/cupcakes. LaDawn made our wedding cake and a grooms cake that was so perfect! Our wedding cake was beautiful and so good! She created the best Miami Dolphin for my husband’s grooms cake that he loved! We had so many compliments on the cake! We would highly recommend her for your big event!!

This is the 3rd time my wife and I have bought a cake from LaDawn and each time we have been more impressed. The orange dream cake is phenomenal. LaDawn was so accommodating with my wife and me, and the amount of cake we get for the price is amazing. We will never go anywhere else for a cake!

OMG the lemon cupcakes and white cake with strawberry filling were to die for. Very nice atmosphere at a great location. The service and the variety of pastries were awesome. I will be revisiting soon!

LaDawn made my wedding cake and I am not exaggerating when I say that it was THE BEST cake I’ve ever had!!! So many people said the same to me during and after the reception. I knew I wanted a blueberry lemon cake with lemon cream cheese frosting and even though LaDawn did not make this type of cake at the time, she agreed to make one for my wedding - she’s so easy to work with! I believe she is now making this cake regularly - do yourself a favor and go get one! You will not regret it!

I shared a variety of LaDawn's cupcakes for a friend's birthday recently, and EVERYONE raved at how delicious they were! I have enjoyed her cupcakes and large chocolate chip cookie slices tremendously! Highly recommend LaDawn and her excellent services!!
LaDawn was super great and friendly to work with. She offers a wide variety of cakes that all taste amazing. We got our tasting cakes and they were so good it was hard to choose one for our wedding. When we did choose the flavor, we had to sit down meeting at her bakery in Cincinnati Ohio and she went over all details about everything we would possibly want for a cake. We brought pictures for references and she made our vision come to life in cake form. Prices are very reasonable and we absolutely loved working with her. Thank you for making our day very special.
We got our wedding cake from LaDawn for our August wedding last year. We met her at a bridal expo and it was the first cake my husband and I actually agreed on, it was so good we knew right away we found the cake we wanted and the right place to get it from! We met with her to plan it out (and ordered a few extra treats while there because all of her stuff is amazing) and the whole process was very easy, she had everything we needed and worked with us to stay within our budget. Overall it was a great experience and everyone loved the cake when it came to the wedding. Definitely recommend!
I booked Sweets by Ladawn for my wedding on 8/26/22. We opted for cupcakes and a small round cake to cut. My guests raved about the flavors options we had. Lemon cake with blueberry filling, white cake with strawberry filling, and chocolate cake with raspberry filling. All had a delicious white buttercream frosting. My cake to cut was the best- it’s the one they provide samples of at the Cincinnati wedding show. Almond cake with raspberry filling and their white buttercream frosting. The cake was decorated exactly like my vision. From the gold flecks to the flowers and cake topper, it was perfect. Additionally we were able to rent the cupcake stand, she delivered and set up for us.
LaDawn did an amazing job with our wedding cake and cupcakes and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! She was so easy to communicate with and took the time to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted. She even came and set everything up the day of the wedding. Thank you for everything, LaDawn!!

Ms. LaDawn was a pleasure to work with in helping us design our wedding cake. She was professional, knowledgeable and her cakes were affordable. The tasting were all we needed to sign on the dotted lines. The tastings were huge and we had enough to share with family. All delicious. Our cake was simple and beautiful just as we asked. It was the talk of the night! We highly recommend Sweets by LaDawn bakery for any event. We wanted a small intimate wedding and Ms. LaDawn was very helpful in making sure we didn’t order too much cake for our small event. We were very nervous going into this process but she reassured us and helped us through the process with grace and good energy. We will be back!

We found Dawn at the bridal expo last year, and what a find! Aside from being a fantastic ambassador for her business, she was handing out samples of the most delicious cake we have ever tasted. We signed a contract right then! The cake was absolutely gorgeous, made exactly as we had designed it, delivered timely, set up beautifully, and tasted divine! People raved about it! I cannot recommend her artistic and delicious talent enough! Don't sleep on the white almond cake with raspberry filling. It is one of the best sweets you will EVER eat!

From our first time going into the store to our tasting to the big day, you all were so caring, kind and courteous (and the options you provided us with were so tasty!) Y’all provided us with an amazing experience. We went with a “death by chocolate” (chocolate toffee cake, chocolate bavarian cream and chocolate buttercream) concept for one set of cupcakes and, that absolutely knocked the socks off of our guests. When I say that we have dreams about these cupcakes… LaDawn was absolutely excellent- especially for those looking to support a locally owned business. They were definitely the right choice for us!
Ms. Ladawn did such a wonderful job on our wedding cake. The cake was absolutely delicious and our cake was eaten so quickly by guests. We had scheduled a cake tasting with her initially where she allowed us to taste quite a few flavors. And then she did a great job working with us to select our design. I gave her decorative freedom with the flowers and she did a gr at job. Highly recommend.
