Great beer list, great food, my favorite music genre in the background, and the friendliest bartenders I have encountered downtown. I wish this was my neighborhood bar.

A Saturday afternoon at Longfellow is one well spent. The bartenders, Oz and John, were friendly and seemed to really enjoy the company of their guests. This is the kind of stuff that sets you apart from the many, many OTR bars. Kudos to the staff for beautiful drinks, delicious food and a laid-back, welcoming vibe.

Great service, wonderful conversation, excellent soundtrack. Even the food is getting better! There is never enough pot de creme in the world, is how I feel.

Best new bar in the city, and one of the neighborhoods not so best kept secrets. Mike and crew really get after it and make this perfect for every situation.

In a city where good service is going the way of arctic permafrost and glacial mass, the staff of Longfellow is our figurative Al Gore. I mean, they're really good. 97/100 scientists agree. IOW, if creative simplicity and character in a watering hole were the internet, Longfellow is Cincinnati's Al Gore. I know I've gone too far with this, but go to Longfellow anyways.

I love this place. The Pickens are always slim and there's a bartender that looks like ramsay Bolton.

Best bar in the city. Mike is a genius. Jen is an alchemist. And everything is delicious.

I love the pool table in the back room. Table is full size and rated for competition. I heard black widow plays there on Saturday evenings.

This bar really sets the standard in Cincinnati. The bartenders are true artists-mixologists. And the food is fantastic as well. While not a full restaurant menu, delish! It really is the perfect neighborhood bar.

Cozy neighborhood spot with great cocktails and a small but mighty menu. The olives are a great value, and the egg salad sandwich was very tasty. The bartenders were so friendly, and people came in and out greeting people by name all evening. What a gem!

Want a bar where everyone is super friendly and the drinks are expertly made? If you answered yes then you better head over to Longfellow. This bar has some of the best staff in the bizz. Even when they're packed, you're still guaranteed to get excellent service and will be remembered whether you're a regular or only stopping in periodically.

coming from our of town, we heard from many locals to check our this bar. We had some time before dinner for a quick drink so we decided to stop in. I loved their cocktail menu and ordered the pain killer. it was amazing! The atmosphere was so fun and cool, very chill, and perfect for a low key night.

Have visited multiple times from LA. One of my favorite bars in the country; drinks are carefully crafted and delicious. The snacks are fresh and unique. The Other Room next door also has unreal and unique cocktails. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautifully crafted cocktails. Place is buzzing on the weekends. Usually find a seat in 10-15 mins but worth standing up for a drink as you bar hop OTR. Painkiller is a supreme cocktail

Came for a visit to The Other Room, their rum bar in the back. Definitely worth a visit, but be friendly and say hi up front before heading back there. Loved the drinks at The other room! Creative, unusual but not gimmicky, well crafted. Never thought I would enjoy soy sauce in a cocktail. And the atmosphere was a little calmer and more intimate.

Stopped in for a quick drink on a Saturday night out. Mixed drinks were on the more expensive side but beer seemed reasonable. We did not order food but the menu seemed to offer some exotic appetizers.

Went in at random with a friend. They had a great atmosphere, vintage feel, and friendly service. I enjoyed what I tried at random from their menu which I believe was the Spruce Goose. They had various foods as an option as well though I didn't try anything.

A quality vitality bar in downtown Cincy. Drinks are priced in the $9-12 range which is quite reasonable for the area. They have cocktails and some ginger foods, not a place I would plan to have a full meal.

Very lovely bar in OTR. Wide range of liquor and cocktails as well as beer and wine and fun bites! One of the best charcuterie boards I've had in awhile. The chocolate pot de creme was a happy surprise on the menu and it did not disappoint, it was amazing. I LOVE that the bar food is fresh is not the typical fried menu you see at so many bars. Some people could find that risky, I find it refreshing.

2023 Update - This bar is still just as good as when it opened. Maybe better even? The drinks are always on point and the food menu is the perfect pairing for a night out. I still agree that this is top 3 in Cincy for cocktails. If you are considering where to go while in town, this should be on the list. ------- Original review - I love this bar. I stop in most Sundays after work and occasionally on other days. No matter when i am in or what shift of bartenders are on, service and drinks are fantastic. Perogies on Sundays, sandwiches and small charcuterie boards other days, food hits well also. This is easily one of the top 3 cocktail bars in greater Cincinnati. If you want a good drink and bartenders who know what is what, this is your place.

As I live nearby, I may be biased, but this place is a great addition to the neighborhood. Relaxed atmosphere without the rowdy OTR crowd seen nearby on Main. Perfect place to start or to end the night! Love the "Pay-It-Forward" board idea!

Came here during a cocktail crawl and had a great experience! Bartenders were very welcoming and handed us menus immediately when we walked in. We ordered espresso martinis but they were out of the traditional ingredients and instead whipped us up something similar but unique! It was delightful and very much enjoyed!!!

I rated Longfellow 5/5 years ago when it opened and it is still 5/5 to this day. You have: a fun vibe, intimate size, in the heart of OTR, with a variety of interesting cocktails, nice liquor, and lots of beer options too. And awesome food. Service is always very friendly and laidback. I really can't think of a single thing I would change about Longfellow, which says a lot. I've lived here for a decade and tried virtually every bar around OTR, Downtown, etc, and I can't think of any other that nails all the details as well as Longfellow. While it has grown to be quite popular, it still feels like a hidden gem. The owner, Mike, is also a very cool guy that spends plenty of time in his bars and genuinely cares to make sure everyone has a good time. In retrospect, it makes you wish every bar was run this well! If you stop in and find Longfellow packed, check out their sister bar and restaurant Mid-City on Court Street, just a few blocks away. It's a little bougier but still very much a bar "for the people" and always a good time as well. Cheers! 🥃 I won't say too much about the Other Room / secret back bar, but check it out too for something different (usually open on the weekends).

If you like rum, you're in luck! While the main bar has some pretty good cocktails the back room is where it is at for me. The have a deep selection of some very tasty rums.
