Love it!!!! New owners! New atmosphere! Food is awesome! Would definitely recommend coming here after work for drinks and food. Everything is cooked to perfection and the staff is friendly and attentive. New favorite place.
Been here a lot of times and for the most part enjoyed all the food. This could be a really fun place if they could get some good FAST!!! Service.
In the middle. I go there every friday with my family great service exempt the last couple of times I have gone the service has not been so great it has been slow and they also served the wrong drinks sometimes like different beers.
Great Food. Stopped in & had a fish sandwich & sweet potato puffs for lunch for Lent. Good stuff!
2 Thumbs UP!!. Huge improvement from the last restaurant that was in the same location. New owners that kept the place pretty much the same. They still use the Mugbee menu, but new menu is on its way they say. The place had a great crowd and most tables full when we arrived. We sat next to some regular's and they were fun to chat with. The service was excellent, beer ice cold and the margarita's were very good. The app and food were served hot and very good. When we asked for something extra or another drink it was quick to return by the server. Glad to see another restaurant with good food and service that doesn't empty your wallet on Beechmont Ave. Good Luck to the new owners and we wish you well.....
Muggbees sports cafe. Ive never experienced a place in ohio like it no cover charge three dollar shots of anything in house it was extremely fun and i also met my soon to be wife there this place will always have a special place for my heart go muggbees

I've passed by Muggbees in Anderson several times, always curious. I decided to drop in for lunch, about 11:45 on a Monday. When I walked in, there was one customer in the restaurant. I was greeted promptly and was told to sit wherever I like. The decor is your typical sports cafe/pub. The menu listed burgers, ribs, Dakotas, various appetizers, wings, and several baskets (sandwiches, ribs, chicken tenders, etc, with one side). I ordered a Philly steak basket with Cajun fries and an order of 5 medium flavored chicken wings. I asked for the fries and wings to be well done. Within 10-15 minutes my food was brought to the table. It looked delicious. The sandwich was on a hoagie bun(which as quite tasty), cut in half. The fries, cooked perfectly to my request, werecoated with plenty of seasoning. The wings were cooked well done as well, but there wasn't much sauce in the basket with them. They were still pretty good though. The sandwich was decent enough. It did seem a little dry. The onions and green peppers seemed fresh and crisp, which was a plus. I did have to wait a few minutes for a refill, otherwise the service was quite good. I'd most likely come back.
Lots of food - service could be improved. I have been to Muggbees a few times now. The food has been good and the portions are very large for not that much money. It is great place to have a few beers and a big 1/2 burger without spending too much. There does appears to be a service issue in that sometimes they can not get the food to your table before it gets cold. If they can fix the service issue, this would become on of my favority bar/restuarants in the Anderson area.
Absolutely love this place!! From the food, to the service, to the games, the bands, the large flat screens, the beer buckets...It's the perfect place for a good time on any occasion! A few friends brought me here for my birthday and it was nothing but a good time, ill be back time and time again for sure!
Mugbees. This place is great!! Typical sports bar, but the burgers are FANTASTIC, especially for the price. I,ve had other sandwiches and wings also, which were all good. This is not a fancy restaurant and sometimes the service is not so good, but come on people, its a freaking sports bar!! Long happy hour daily, $7.50 for bucket of 5 beers, $8 3/4lb burgers with anything you want on it, and more fries than you can eat. You cant get that anywhere else, guaranteed!! Its a great local watering hole and I,m glad they opened in And Twp.!
Can't complain. Hey it's a burger. toppings are good, meat is kinda bland, drinks are cheap...all in all its not bad. However maybe everything should be served in a mug, not just the drinks.
He finished the Muggabeast burger and 2 sides in 35 minutes!
Good overall lunch for a bar atmosphere. Can't beat 10 wings and a side for 12.99! I do wish the wings were cooked slightly less. They were a bit overdone but the spicy garlic sauce was delicious. The mozzarella wedges had major cheese pull and were piping hot which I love! Also recommend the Mac and cheese, great flavor in the sauce!
Yum! Monday wing special is 12 wings and a side for 12.99, although it charged 13.49 or 13.99, whatever. Still good and worth it! I got the Jamaican jerk sauce, not a fan, and the Sweet Thai, huge fan. My husband was also a fan of the sweet Thai and the spicy bbq. The Cajun fries were really good too!
First time here! Loved the atmosphere, good band on Fridays. Reuban was good, he got a steak hoagie and mac n cheese and said they were also good. We'll be back 😉 we came back for Burger Week! Yummy burgers! Meaty! 😋

Wow! Burgers are huge and full of flavor. Green beans are excellent-yes-green beans. Crispy Fries and the side of cheesy potatoes are scrumptious. We’ve had the ribs, fish tacos, pulled pork and wings too. We loved all of it. The waitresses are outstanding. Go support local business -you’ll be glad you did. The only thing not pleasant is the smoking area out front. Just walk quickly past it.
Had heard about this place from friends, but never made it in until now. Stopped by during Burger Week. Ordered the Deluxe with Waffle Fries, as well as, the Tri-Fecta with Onion Rings.
The Tri-Fecta is a little pricey, but is very good!
We went on a Friday at about 5pm, first time there. A sign emblazoned with "seat yourself" hinted correctly that we'd have no trouble finding a table at that hour. The layout was friendly, eith ample view screens justifying the term "spirts bar." We were quickly greeted after seating, and our orders were taken promptly. My burger was excellent! We'd come for burger week 2022, and while I won't say theirs was the best in Cincinnati, they were the best in one respect: of the dozen places we patronized, only this one allowed ANY burger on their list to be chosen, which very much impressed me, and 1 side was *included* in the $7 special. By comparison, the Varsity was the best-priced in town. And the burger was very goid and generously sized.
Service was prompt & friendly, as was the crowd. A nice selection of beers rounded things out. I could definitely dine here on a regular basis!
Really great place! Feels like home! If you are in a hurry don’t come here but if you are looking to sit down share some drinks and food and good conversation then this is the place for you!

On first glance this seems like a typical sports bar. But we soon discovered that the food was excellent. They have many weekly specials that are offered for a reduced price. The food choices are not just typical bar food. They take the menu pretty serious. The gourmet Mac and cheese dishes are very unique. The wings are very good as well. The service for our group has been great. It seems like a hidden gem, except it is always busy and full of energy.

The service here is always really good, everyone is super nice. And when I leave my wallet doesn't hurt, also the tall beers are huge, at least to me.
Usually, when you hit a restaurant after a certain hour, it's questionable what you'll get in terms of food and service.
We went later in the evening, about 8:30-9:00 pm and the food was still great and the service was good too. I would definitely recommend their Hillbilly Nachos 😋 The food was hot, fresh, and delicious!
I got a taco, and their awesome onion rings. My son got wings, and my daughter in law got a burger with fries. We were all pleased with our meals. A friendly atmosphere with delicious food, highly recommended!
Really great environment! Family friendly but also a place to hang out with friends.. the food is great!! Service is awesome.. prices are fair.. plenty of TV's for the sports fan.. great time!!
