Really great local sports bar. Excellent selection of craft beers! The staff are great, hustle and keep standing room only crowds happy. The music is awesome with some of our local favorites including Stagger Lee and Kevin McCoy Band. There's room to dance and a nice deck out back with fire pit to relax on. The food is very good and reasonably priced. If you are looking for a great relaxed evening with live band, good beer and food, this is the place for you!
I come here every two months are so. I am always pleased with the service and food. The corn fritters are a delight. The Chef Salad is easily enough for two people and has plenty of meat and cheese.
The food is great! The chicken quesadillas are the bomb, as well as the boneless wings and french fries. The atmosphere is fun and inviting with great entertainment. The staff is always friendly and helpful. (Casey and Connie are my favorites but don't tell) We stop in every other week, sometimes once a week and I have yet to have a bad experience.
I love going to The Show on 42! Tuesday nights are my favorite because Big Daddy Walker DJ's and does karaoke! He's amazing! Great food,music,people, and the bartenders are awesome! So if you're looking for a good time and some great music The Show on 42 especially on Tuesday nights is the place to be!

WOW...How lucky we were to pick The Show for lunch on Mother's Day!!!! Best Service, Best Waitress, Best Food and a gorgeous day outside on The Show's sunny deck. We will be a returning customer VERY soon. My furry friend, Max, got to enjoy Mother's Day with us, too! Hope to see you there. Highly recommend the wings and the little Sliders!

Great night listening to Kevin McCoy and Lee Dixon unplugged! Beers were cold waitress was tentative. Original order was wrong but they fixed it.

The best kept secret of Westchester:) This little bar is action pack with all kinds of killer local bands. The employees that work here, all work together, so you never do without. Dallas Moore is one of the hottest bands in Cincinnati. Their burgers are Phenomenal. If you get a chance stop by and ask for Cassie and Ben. You'll get the royal treatment.
The Show on 42 has been a staple in my life for over 30 years now. It has changed names many times in the past several years but always love my favorite bartender Casey and the staff. Food is pretty good for a bar. They have karaoke on Tuesday, Wednesday thru Sunday there will be some kind of musical performance going on that is always fun to see.
I have had the pleasure of meeting the owner, great man! Food was excellent and reasonably priced. The live music regularly is a added bonus. Bartenders serve some pretty creative cocktails. Can't go wrong going here for a good time!
We went here for the first time a couple month ago around 5ish. They weren't busy yet, it was nice and quiet. The bartender/server was super friendly and helped us pick out good food. We ended up with the Fried Pickles as an appetizer(they make them fresh), the food was just tasty and delicious all around. Yes it does get loud inside as the night takes off, due to the bands playing and more people coming in but it's a bar.

Their karaoke is wonderful. Dj mixed line dances and on demand karaoke. Bar has decent food for bar fare. You won't get anything freshly prepared but what they do serve is nicely prepared and pleasantly presented.
Staff is friendly and service is excellent.
Bathroom is dated and a bit worn but clean and well kept.
The Show is wonderful. The bartenders are friendly (love Casey) and always kind. The food is excellent. Best hamburgers and chicken salad. Tuesday karaoke and Thursday thru Sunday usually a live band or acoustic guitar. Lots of TV's to watch all your favorite sports. The outside tables are a great place to meet up with friends especially in the summer..They are Covid compliant too.
I go here every Tuesday night. The salads will easily feed two. The burgers look and taste fabulous. I dig the fried potato skins like no other. You might have to wait a bit for your "adult beverages" because the bar stays busy but once you get it, it will be tasty and the pour will be generous.
We loved this place! Great menu selecting me. Our server was spot on and knowledgeable about the specialized beer menu. Nachos were crispy and plentiful with toppings. Breaded wings are fresh and full wings with all parts. The 42 house special sauce was the great combo of bbq and kick. Fish and chips were good. Hubby thought they were bland, I thought they were good since I don't like a fishy taste. Fries perfectly crisp on outside, tender on inside. All food was HOT coming our of kitchen! I had the experimental Tastes Like Summer ale. It was smooth and not hoppy. We will be back to try the burgers since that is what the place claims are the best. Plenty roomy inside, large deck. Great service. We always go see Dallas Moore for southern fried sundays. Cold beer and a great outdoor seating area. Great live music. Get a pizza you wont be disappointed. Tell old Dallas we sent ya!
Everything was wonderful! The server (Sarah J) was on point. She was at our table a minute after we were seated. She answered all our questions and since it was our first time at this restaurant, we had a few of them. The most important things to us were the great service we received from Sarah and how delicious the food was. For the first time (ever), I sent a "THANK YOU" message to the cook, for the delicious food. We are definitely going back and will be telling others how great this place is.
The wings are amazing - maybe the best wing sauces I have ever had. The music, however, leaves much to be desired in my opinion. I order carryout when I want a real treat! Good drinks, good service, friendly employees and amazing, reasonably priced food.
I just love this bar. Been going there off and on 20+ years. Great good, great bands and the set up is roomy! KENO is a plus. All of the staff is great but mainly go to see Jaye. Definitely get the Chicken Quesadilla
This is an older bar in the front and a brand new sports bar in the back. I prefer the front just due to the mass amounts of tv's in such close proximity. They feature a full menu of pretty good food and most importantly they offer FREE POPCORN ALL DAY! The staff there is great to. Highly recommended.
Any place where you can go and have a 20 minute conversation with the owner about selecting the perfect pickle is going to have great food. Noah is probably the most personable server around and every time I've sat down for lunch here it has been a great experience. The wood work inside looks great too.
I went on a Sunday, great live music by Dallas Moore who is a nationally touring artist with Cincinnati roots. The staff & food were equally spectacular. I'll be back!
I love ❤️ this place, I was on live.me broadcasting and my audience ❤️ as well. The band was great , people dancing all night until 2 am . The owner is a really cool guy and the staff were interactive and professional.
