My recent visit to K & J Seafood was nothing short of extraordinary, from the food to the customer service and even the drinks; every aspect of this dining experience left me and my best friend utterly amazed.
A TikTok Treasure Unearthed:
Our journey to this culinary haven began with a TikTok discovery, and the excitement was palpable as we drove seven hours to reach our vacation destination. K & J Seafood was our chosen lunch spot, and boy, were we in for a treat!
Culinary Bliss:
I had the privilege of savoring the wings and the seafood loaded fries, and I must say, I was nearly moved to tears by how incredible they tasted. The culinary craftsmanship on display here is truly remarkable. Nothing was over-seasoned, and nothing was under-seasoned; every dish danced with a symphony of flavors that tantalized the taste buds.
The wings were cooked to perfection, with crispy skin giving way to succulent, tender meat. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving more. The seafood loaded fries were a revelation, a glorious combination of crispy fries generously adorned with a bountiful seafood medley. It was a carnival of tastes and textures that I won't soon forget.

This establishment has won a special place in my heart, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit. In fact, the thought of relocating to the area has crossed my mind because of this culinary gem. K & J Seafood is more than a restaurant; it's a destination where food becomes an unforgettable journey for the senses.
Really loved the food we purchased. My favorite by far was the shrimp poboy sandwich. It was so good and the sauce was poppin. A must try! We also had the fried lobster tail and the ramen noodle, shrimp sausage boill and Madi Gras Lemonade. Will definitely be going back to try more items. We drove an hour to this place and we were not disappointed.
Ms. Iesha is a true gift!! Her welcoming smile, courteous and professional demeanor, and the light in her eyes as she described the various, sumptuous menu items made the visit well worth it! The Creole flair and generous portions at reasonable prices ensures we WILL be returning here again soon!! Joy is also a sweetheart. Her speed and efficiency in preparing our order was phenomenal. This hidden gem in Avondale is bringing a much needed alternative to typical seafood boil. The Bearcat boil for the non-seafood connesoir is a definite Hit!!

My first time dining at K&J Seafood and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner. The food was prepared perfectly and taste divine. I highly recommend a visit.
Those seafood fries had me in the best chock hold ever. The lemonade was very refreshing and beautifully sweet. The whole meal was amazing and worth every penny. I order the same thing each time, and each time it has been amazing.
Absolutely delicious! Very happy to support a thriving Black-owned business. There was quite a wait for our order but the cook was kind enough to keep us updated and apologized twice for the wait. Will definitely be back.
K & J is AMAZING! The flavors are delectable. My food was fresh. The restaurant is clean. Jordan was well mannered, respectful and very professional. An overall AWESOME experience!
The food was excellent, the lady taking order was super nice and sweet. They work well as a group, the food was the bomb hunny. My kids love seafood and they smashed. We will be back trust and believe that. We got 1lb of the seafood Cajun boil and seafood fries.
We grabbed takeout from K&J Seafood's new location. Having already been familiar with the shrimp poboy, this time we opted for the catfish version.
Somehow, it was even better.
Griddle toasted bun (a change from our last foray, which was a fluffy hoagie), the batter was spicier, the flavors were richer.
This may have shaved a year off of my life due to all of the oil and flavor elements. But it's also evidence that K&J know what they're doing with seafood. Great stuff.
Support BLACK OWNED Business people! The service was quick and professional, and don’t let me start on the food! It was not too salty or dry and the portions were just right! It was so damn delicious, I ate the food before I could post. Just FYI once you order they are going to ask that you stand outside as a COVID courtesy.

I loooove seafood so I was very happy to hear this place opened up. I had the seafood fries and they are the bomb! It has a tasty cheese sauce, crab, shrimp and bacon.
Update: I will say they have changed over the years, and they have moved to a new location, depending on who you get on the phone you might get someone that has an attitude, the last time I tried to call and make a order the girl just hung up right in my face, after I said thank you.
The Low Country Boil w/garlic butter sauce and eggs is absolutely delicious, its exactly how you'd imagine and expect a seafood boil is supposed to taste. I've had seafood boils from other places in Cincinnati, but this is by far how I've always imagined and expected one to taste.
