I have been wanting to stop by here for years. I finally got the chance yesterday and it did not disappoint! We tried the Maui muffins delicious. I ordered the salted buttermilk biscuit with egg salad for my husband for lunch. He loved it! Came with a side of bacon to add to it. Amy and Melissa were so wonderful to meet. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend you stop by this For breakfast or lunch!
As a former resident of walking cities including NYC and SF, I really appreciate a good bakery where I can get a breakfast snack on the way to work. I started working down the street from Fork & Pie and had to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Their scones and muffins are fantastic and their coffee cake is to die for. I make a point to stop in here every week.
From time to time, I also grab one of their delicious sweet pies to share with the family on special occasions. If you are in the area, you should definitely pay these ladies a visit... a true gem in Cincinnati!
I wish I could post the aroma of this pie shop, you would have to make a visit, I had the southwestern hand pie, perfectly seasoned, the apple pie was yummy as well
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Fork and Pie Bakery in Newtown. Our favorite take-home treat was the Mushroom Parmesan Quiche - Excellent!
We also enjoyed the ham and cheese hand pie, blueberry muffin and apple brown sugar pie.
We will be back!!!
I was surprised to see this bakery with a stand on the west side of town at a harvest festival. From my experience it's worth a drive across town. The blueberry muffin is fantastic. It had a crisp outer shell with actual blueberries inside. It wasn't overly sweet like most. It was soft and crumbly inside.
I come from a family of fabulous bakers.. My mom and Grandmothers make everything from scratch with fresh ingredients. I was STARVING headed to a soccer game and stopped by Fork and Pie for a snack. I got a ham/egg/potato breakfast pie and some cinnamon rolls & cookies for the kids. Oh my, the breakfast pie was absolutely fabulous! I snuck a bite of a cinnamon roll and decided I needed to put the box of treats in the back seat so I wouldn’t eat every last flaky morsel of baked goodness. A+++++
Ordered a mixed berry pie for Thanksgiving. Not only did they get my order completed in time, but the pie was AMAZING!!! My family loved it. The presentation was beautiful and it tasted even better than it looked. Thank you so much Stevie!
So I sent a Facebook message asking about a particular type of pie. The owner responded to me right away... They didn't have it, but they could make me one today. I didn't know what size I wanted, or how long it would take or any of that. She step by step went through the whole process without me in individual Facebook messages until setting up my exact pickup time.
Got there it was fresh, hot, and ready, nd so I grabbed two other treats too. The cherry scone, blueberry muffin and my custom Derby pie were all amazing. The scone was crumbly and full of cherries with confectioner sugar on top, the muffin was a little buttery, but mild in sweetness, letting the tart Berry flavors win out. And derby pie is just a great idea.
Only thing better than the treats? The customer service! Check them out!
If you haven't visited the place, you are definitely missing out! Today I stopped in for coffee and a muffin because the local doughnut place was out of doughnuts (like how does that even happen?!) and a local coffee shop was packed and for some reason, I really wanted a coffee this morning. Turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. While I went in for a muffin & coffee, $20 later, I left with a breakfast pie (egg, potato, bacon & cheese in a butter pie crust) for today, a mini apple brown sugar pie (2 choices of pie crust and I of course went with the less healthy option of butter - the other crust option was sorghum and whole wheat), a ham & cheese hand pie for maybe lunch today or tomorrow, a cardamon cinnamon roll (for tomorrow's breakfast or a midnight snack if I can't wait that long) and a coffee. The quality can't be beat. These pies are made fresh daily and taste like the pies your mom or grandmother would make at Thanksgiving & Christmas. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff are incredibly friendly (& patient as I continually add items after saying I'm done). Seriously, I think the next time I go in, I will just make it easy on everyone and get "one of everything." You can't go wrong with anything in there. Next time you're driving to Starbucks or the doughnut shop, stop. Turn around and head to Fork and Pie. You will not regret it.
The place is very nicely done and the food is very delicious and unique. Stevie puts care and special effort into everything she makes. Most of the ingredients are home grown.
If you have not been there, give Fork and Pie Bakery a try!
Went there with my wife...we're in there about 15 minutes...several things came out of their ovens while we were there...mini blueberry pies, and mini Apple pies...got one of each...got some biscotti, scones, egg and sausage savory turnover pies, and a bag of fresh roasted coffee...yeah, couldn't resist...this was on a full stomach...my son nearly cried while eating the Apple pie...grunted most of the way through it. Everything was amazing...note I know what I'm talking about...my late grandma and two late aunts all of Italian descent used to stuff me growing up with their competitive baking. In the 30s through 50s, my late grandfather "was" the best bakery in Methuen Mass. Great stuff...we'll be back soon!
Oh my goodness, the Chocolate Chip cookies with Salt are absolutely amazing. I have never had a cookie so good. And their coffee is local too. Looking forward to stopping in on the drive downtown soon!!
I love Fork and Pie! This cute little bakery makes the most amazing ham and cheese hand pies & all the scones are moist and delicious — my favorite is the cranberry orange!
Great bakery with gluten free options. Make sure you stop in early as they do sell out of certain items. I go there on Saturdays to pick up sweets for the week. My favorite is the Fudge Brownie, which is giant!
Recently had breakfast there, and the quiche was delicious! They have a cute area in which to sit, and enjoyed tea with my friend. They even came over for refills...staff is very friendly. Highly recommend you check it out!
Stopped at Fork and Pie for the first time the other day. Lena was working and was so friendly! I left with a scone and really enjoyed it. I will definitely be back!
The Walk up window first caught my attention. So I circled around and tapped on the glass. Out of the window came some of the most delicious berry pies and pumpkin bread I've ever tasted.
Drove 25 mins for cookies and was not disappointed. The Salted Chocolate Chip and Sugar were really good. I was surprised even after a week the cookies were still as good.
