Pretty clean sandwich shop. Arrived at 1040 am and the door was still locked. But the friendly staff and fresh bread and fresh produce made the wait worth it. Ordered the Italian with only yellow mustard and lettuce. It was very good. The guy who took our order just needs to be trained a little better. He doesn’t listen to what you want. Told him lettuce and yellow mustard only 4 times. Over all a good experience.

The sandwich was so good. I got the "Turkey and Pastrami". Service was good and the place was clean! Definitely will go here again.

My wife and I ate here yesterday. We both had the pesto garlic chicken aoli sandwich (4"), and I had a small Caesar salad, and my wife had the Mac and cheese. We also each had a soda from the fountain. Our sandwiches were more like 6", and were both excellent. Very tasty. My Caesar salad also was excellent. My only reason for not giving 5-stars is the price. $27 for two 4" sandwiches seems really excessive.

They were getting close to closing when my husband and I walked in (Not in the last 5 minutes. We aren't those people.) They were just as genuinely friendly as if we had walked in at lunch. Not only were they patient with my indecision while ordering,, they even took time to chat with us while they fixed our food and rung us up. They were just really real, and positive people. We didn't feel rushed out the door, or like they were resentful we were there. I ordered the caprese sandwich, warm, and my husband ordered the French dip and a small Greek salad. The prices were reasonable (more than reasonable in light of the quality!) and the food was ready in a decent amount of time. We were only one of two orders, but still, they didn't sit around and "twiddle their thumbs". The food...unbelievably, the food was even better than the service! I didn't eat my sandwich as soon as we got home because kids🤷🏻‍♀️, but even after it had cooled I was literally amazed at the flavor and freshness. I'm not impressed by much, not because I expect more, but because I just don't feel it. This impressed me, from the soft but substantial crunch of the sourdough, to the pleasing lack of rubberyness from the mozzarella. The balsamic glaze busted with flavor without being overpowering, and they put just enough on the sandwich to keep it from being dry, but not so much it was soggy or drowning in it. Even the greens hadn't wilted as it sat for a few hours! The same can be said for my husband's salad. He never gets excited unless it has an impact, and as he relayed what could only be described as an "experience " when he ate it, he became animated and closed his eyes as he savored the memory. Let me point out he didn't eat the salad until THE NEXT DAY , around noon! Not only did he practically DROOL as he told me "I HAD to get one!", he was especially astounded that none of it had wilted! Even after sitting in the fridge all night, and in his lunch box half the day. I think it's obvious from my chapter book about our experience, but we intend to go back...and if the second visits as good as the first, they have earned themselves a couple regulars.

Love this places. In my opinion it’s one of the best sandwich places in Sacramento area. Soups here are pretty good as well especially claim chowder.
