The food was super good! The menu is kinda small but that’s not always a bad thing. My waitress was friendly and came to my table as soon as I sat down so I could place my drink order. When she returned she took my appetizer order, and when she returned with it took my main order. It was the perfect setup in my opinion. I also heard them playing a Mac Miller song so bonus points.
Very flavorful, quick delivery with large portion. I was greatly impressed by the offered sizes of the meals and appatizer. Menu was smal but easy to decide. Will definately be going back.
The ramens and takoyaki are absolutely amazing, and some of the best I've had in a long time. The ramen broth is rich and flavorful, and the noodles are cooked to perfection. The takoyaki is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning.
What I love about this place is the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the decor is tastefully done. It's a great spot to come and relax with friends or just grab a quick bite on the go.
Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves Japanese cuisine or is looking for a delicious and authentic meal. You won't be disappointed!
This was just the kind of place I was looking for. Easy to park, with traffic lights to help you when you leave. Neatly tucked into a little shopping center. It was a tad small, but the Miso Ramen was tops. My help was Caitlin (sp) who made sure I never lacked anything. A most pleasant dining experience.

No, on the real, this place had dope food. The salad is gorgeous and the black tonkatsu is still making me want more.
I love the black garlic ramen. I go there just for that. One of the best ramen I've found in that area.
Our waitress (Katelyn?) was delightful and helpful. The CHICKEN KARAAGE was fantastic and generously portioned.
My boss bought lunch for the office. I've never had "real" Ramen (outside of the packaged processed stuff); so I was very much looking forward to trying it. The meal was not bad but it was not great. It didn't satisfy my specific tastes.
Don't get me wrong, everyone in the office loves the food. Two of my coworkers eat there 2 to 3 times a week. It just didn't satisfy me.
If you've never eaten "real" Ramen, I would HIGHLY recommend Umami Ramen. Everyone has their specific taste in food, you may love it.
Cute little place tucked into a busy shopping center. Waitress was very attentive, and food came out relatively fast. The takoyaki were very good, so soft on the inside and the octopus was not rubber-y at all. Black garlic tonkotsu was amazing, very huge meat size for just two pieces. Would definitely return
New ramen spot for me! Great service, very attentive and fast. Food was great for price and portions. Definitely satisfied. Broth had flavor, good amount of noodles. Gyoza is good but can be a little crispier. Will def be back again!
What an excellent find! This is absolute top-quality ramen and very authentic. The noodles were scrumptious, the broth nuanced, and the meat and veggies were delectable. Very reasonably priced and excellent service!
This place is great. They have amazing service and wonderful food. The reason I’m writing this review is because their staff went above and beyond for me tonight. I have a seafood/fish allergy, and even though I put it in all my online orders that note gets overlooked. Well today I ordered the black tonkatsu ramen not realizing they use fish in the broth. When I received my order I found a note from them letting me know that the ramen k ordered had fish and they replaced it with the shoyu with an apology. And I can not express how greatful I am because I would be in the er right now instead of writing this review. So Umami staff, thank you so much! It was amazing and again I’m so greatful, thank you so much. I will definitely be ordering from you guys again, and now I know what to order!
Had the shoyu ramen, it was very good. I recommend this flavor.
Girlfriend had a different flavor that was very salty.
The place is nice and clean. Bathrooms are in good condition. The menu is not very extensive, which is nice because it makes it easy to make a quick decision.
I came here specifically because I saw that dipping noodles was on the menu. I haven't seen this anywhere since I was in Japan as part of an exchange program in high school, so I had to come!
First off, this place is kind of unassuming, but what I've found is that unassuming places usually have the best food at the best prices. It's in a strip mall/shopping complex, with parking out front and a bunch of different restaurants in the complex. The restaurant is narrow, but really deep. You actually sit at booths that line the kitchen, and you can hear the chefs cooking.
I'll admit, I was a bit nervous about the recipe that they were going to use for the dipping noodles. I've never heard of "bonito dashi" and had to look it up. (And yeah, I know that trip to Japan really served my Japanese skills well.) I'll admit I'm not a super big fan of seafood or fish, so I told the server if it was possible to avoid the bonito in my order. The server was beyond polite and accommodating, and after a quick conversation, we decided I'd probably like the broth from the black garlic tonkatsu. She went the extra mile and served the black garlic sauce on the side as a just in case. After a quick taste test, I dumped all that black garlic into my broth! And the noodles were unbelievable - it definitely wasn't the same dish that I had in Japan, where the noodles were served cold and with a tiny dish of dipping sauce. This was a full-sized bowl of noodles with a full-sized bowl of broth. You took noodles from one bowl, dipped them fully in the broth, and ate them.
My friend got the Umami bowl. The chicken karaage in it looked delicious!
Hands down, I will be coming here again when I'm next in the area!
Spectacular little spot, my Ramen snob coworkers was impressed as was I. Clean, great food, friendly staff, what's not to like?

I’ve been coming here close to 3 times a month for the last 1.5-2 years! Service is always fast, ramen is always fresh and hot and prices reflect the quality that you get! I’ve been to a lot of ramen places and this is one of the best! Support a local business that cares a lot about the product they put out! Thanks Umami Ramen! Black Garlic for LIFE! 🙌

Guys are making really good food! For 25$ i’ve got giant bowl of ramen and takoyaki balls which impressed me because it’s also big size for that amount of money. On top of it food was yummy and filling. Definitely will order again!
The meats in the ramen are fried. Not a fan of that. The place is clean and in a good location. Server was friendly.
