This place is hands down one of the best places to eat. Food is absolutely top notch everything we had was exceptional. Great portions for the price. Family that owns the business obviously cooks and manages with love. Get the Turkish coffee or one of their teas with the baklava after you eat. Tremendous!
I was just passing through town on the way home from a long trip. I honestly didn't expect to find a great gyro shop in Tennessee, but I was pleasantly surprised. They actually have some interesting options on the menu but I wanted to get something fast, easy, and familiar after a long day on the road. That said they mentioned that they're working on expanding their menu even more soon which I'd definitely like to try if I'm ever passing through the area again. One thing they do with their gyros that I haven't seen at most places is using pickled spicy peppers as one of the toppings (which you can just ask them not to include if you don't want them) and it really added something to the flavor. The ingredients were all good quality and about the best you can hope for in a gyro. I enjoyed the meal very much and finished it off with some baklava. My friend had the chicken shawarma. I asked to try a piece of the chicken and it was excellent. I wish I could have eaten both items. The owner and his son were working there and were very friendly as well. I much prefer supporting small local restaurants than big corporate chains.
Wonderful restaurant with very welcoming staff. All of our dishes were made fresh from scratch and authentic. By far the best Mediterranean food in the area. The hot sweet mint tea and hummus are a must.
This place was so delicious! My husband and I love trying new places and we have been on the hunt for a good local Mediterranean restaurant and we have most definitely found it!
The food was delicious. We all ordered different and then shared bites to try it all. Couldn't find a single complaint. It's a family ran business and it was welcoming. He was so fun and we really enjoyed having dinner there. This has to be the best Mediterranean spot in Clarksville! We will be returning!
Prices are very reasonable, service was SO kind, and the food was super tasty and fresh. I had the shawarma and it tasted so good. My mother had the gyro platter. The veggies tasted great, and the lamb was seasoned very well. I usually don't like lamb, but I kept stealing some from her plate. It was just too tasty. The mediterranean slushy is a gread drink to get, by the way.
You NEED to try this place. I work only a few minutes away and will definitely be eating her for lunch more often!
This is a family style restaurant with the emphasis on fresh! The smell of fresh baba ghanoush pleasantly prepared was worth the wait. I had the shish kabob and the garlic, pepper morsels were really filling and delicious. The family is preparing food from fresh spices and if you want a taste of Mediterranean food at its best, try this local spot. Parking may be a bit of a struggle, but it is worth it. I topped my food with a pot of sweet honey filled tea ...wow ! I left very happy and satisfied... (5 stars for the food and service. Oh, that is hot freshly made bread from the oven !
Stopped by this amazing place on Wednesday. The atmosphere and everything was perfect. And the most important part the authentic Mediterranean food was very fresh and amazing on top of that. The owner took excellent care of me and maybe his son. I can’t wait to come back for a much larger meal and try everything on the menu!
