I've been going to this restaurant for years. Now we live far away but we got a chance to go today & it was a good as I remembered. Best egg rolls I've ever had. The service was great, the waitress very friendly & they accommodated my shrimp allergy. We look forward to going again when we're in the area

Golden Gate is my forever favorite Chinese restaurant. The fried rice and the egg rolls are the best I’ve ever had. (The fried rice is especially delicious with the gravy from the egg foo young which, I don’t know if they still let you order separately, but they did for many years....it can’t hurt to ask) Everywhere I’ve lived, I’ve tried to find a new place that lives up to Golden Gate, and so far no place has. Every visit back home includes a non-negotiable stop here for lunch or dinner

We had the best time! We went there for my daughter's 9th birthday lunch! The food was excellent! Jane our waiter went out of her way to make us happy! I couldn't decide between 2 dishes so she offered to give me half portions of both! She even brought out sliced oranges with a candle so we could sing Happy birthday to my daughter! I have been coming here since I was a little girl and I now have the pleasure of sharing this place with my daughter's! I can't wait until our next visit!

We have been a regular customer of Golden Gate for over 40 years! You heard me right, over 40 years! People from all over drive miles away for their food. When people come home to Ohio, their first order is placed within 24 hours. Once you have it, there's no going back! Best ribs, fried rice, lo-mien and chow-mien that I have ever had. Fast, friendly, and incredible food. Show them some love; it's been a tough three months with Covid-19.

Best Chinese food in the country by far. The owner is the nicest lady and she will cook your dish with low sodium or however you want it and it is very fresh and the egg rolls, ribs and wonton soup are the definition of perfection.

I've been trying a different restaurant every time I've gotten Chinese for the past year because they've all been disappointing. This one might finally be the new usual. Veggies were fresh, sauces were delicious, and the lo mein noodles are the actual proper thick kind.

My favorite Chinese in Lakewood! The dinner options forafor 2-4 people are an amazing value for the price. We always have leftovers. ask for an upgrade on the wonton soup to the subgum wonton - fresh vegetables and additional meats. So good.

Food is amazing. Every time. My in laws introduced me to this place. They’ve been going for years. Never disappointed and the take out is so fast! I recommend this place to everyone I know.

Best egg rolls and wonton soup, so flavorful, fresh and yummeeeee! Tender meat, crisp veggies. Hearty portions without a hefty price! Good quality ingredients and they do not skimp on the shrimp chips, which are fresh! Nothing is greasy and the food is always delicious! They even add a little cup of homemade hot wasabi mustard and sweet n sour sauce...so AUTHENTIC! You guys keep the original dishes as they should be! Love Golden Gate!

The best Chinese food in Lakewood. The food has consistently been the same for 30 years. And that's fine with me, because it's perfect. Won Ton Soup, Egg Foo Young and Sweet and Sour Chicken are our go to's.

One of our favorites! Wished they delivered, but going to pick it up is usually worth the drive. Hong kong chicken and sweet and sour chicken is the best chicken in all if the Chinese food around. Wonton soup however is not the best. The wontons do not have meat in them, just slivers of pork floating in the broth, broth is good though. Goes great with shrimp chips. Everything else I have had is delicious!

I'm a vegetarian and this place is a must! Definitely try the vegetable fried rice, vegetable lo mein, spring rolls and sweet and sour tofu. It's not on the menu, but they always make it for us. Just be sure to ask for it cut extra thin and cooked extra well. Delish!

Crab Rangoons were awesome. Actually had some crab and flavor to them compared to most places that just stuff them with cream cheese. Chicken lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, and moo goo gai pan were all delicious.
