Read all these great reviews on Google about the buffet and had to try it myself. It was AMAZING! So affordable (lunch buffet: $11.99/person, dinner buffet $14.50/person). Everything tasted so delicious, freshly made and replaced as food was running out. Buffet includes the drink. Service was great! They were very friendly, helpful and on top of everything. We'll definitely be going there again. One of our faves now for sure
They have a $14 dinner buffet, and that includes a drink! It is worth the $14, the food was quite delicious. For what you are paying, they have a good selection to choose from as well. The staff are very attentive and quickly fill drinks and remove dirty dishes. It’s totally a hidden gem as more than half of the tables were empty on a Friday evening.
Yummy food. Buffet style. Nice selection but empty trays as we were there late on the lunch hour. Cold fried options too. Mix of Indian and Pakistani cuisines so really nice for this gal who prefers Pakistani and Afghan selections. Wish the restaurant had more light. Literally felt like a whole in the wall.

We've been coming here for over 10 years and everything is always perfect. The food is fresh from the buffet I never have an empty glass of tea to drink and the restaurant staff are very friendly. If you're looking for authentic Indian food go here. Don't confuse this one in Clifton Park to the one in Latham. This one is 10 times better in my opinion.
Tasty food on the dinner buffet. Can't beat the price. I have spent more on breakfast than what it cost for this all you care to eat feast.

My husband and I love Indian food. We have frequented many different Indian restaurants in the area, and Shalimar is one of our favorites. Their naan is some of the best we've ever had. Their chicken Tikka masala is so tender and creamy. Yum. I love their samosa chat, their onion chutney, and their green sauce as well. My husband has had a couple of different vindaloo dishes, and the sauce is very rich, and flavorful. Really outstanding food, the staff are awesome, and the restaurant is very clean, and has a nice warm, calm atmosphere.
