Been going to hot grill for about 35 years...one of our all time favorite places!!!...we moved to Florida 5 years ago but Hot Grill is a MUST ...EVERY visit...we even freeze some pints of sauce to take on the plane with us back to FL...best sauce...best dogs...fries with gravy/sauce...roast beef platter...omg, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!!!!...

Just as good as the day they opened in the fifties. Four generations of our our family have enjoyed the great Texas Wieners served here. Most of the "old counter guys" are gone, but the new ones learned their trade and the lingo well!
My family and I love Hot Grill so much. No one makes chili sauce the way they do. Whenever someone in the family is in NJ, we kinda do a take over because there are so many of us. This place definitely gets 5 stars.
Although I'd eaten supper when we got there from Newark airport to fetch my son and family who were starving from their Mexico trip, I had to have one of their chili dogs. I'd never miss a chance to savor this treat.
Best place around hands down I always get 2 cheeseburger with sauce a hot dog all the way and fries with cheese and gravy

I’d give 10 stars if I could. Have been going here forever being born, raised and still living in Clifton. The BEST of the BEST! Whenever people hear you are from Clifton they always say...oh wait that’s where The Hot Grill is right?!? Excellent food always!! You just can’t beat the Hot Grill Craving! I highly recommend!

First place I go whenever I get off the plane in NJ! I usually don't even drop off my luggage first. My family and friends all know that is the place to meet up!
