This is my first time a Rumba Cubana. The food was good even though I have had better. The ambience is awesome. They had music playing. Hostess sat us quickly. The servers and wait staff were amazing. I love Francisco! He took care of us. He was detailed oriented. Truly amazing. The spot is clean. Love the wall decals. I will definitely come back when I'm in town.
The ambiance and decor is great! The facilities were nice and clean as well. Food was good but it needed just a pinch more of salt for it to be better. Also, the dessert was amazingly tasty especially the churros. This is a great place for celebrations or just a nice night out. I highly recommend this place, you will enjoy it and have a good time. The staff were very friendly and on point.
It was delicious. My son took me for my 57th birthday. I was a little nervous because of Omicron but our table was away from the main tables. The staff was accommodating, very attentive and they sang a beautiful version of Happy Birthday! I really enjoyed myself and oh the drinks, was on point!
Wonderful food. My friend and I were looking for the handicapped parking and driving towards it when an employee who was exiting the restaurant dropped a cone in front of our car and told us that the employees were only allowed to park there. We were able to park in front and spoke to management inside. The manager was kind and listened and explained that the area had been sectioned off during the pandemic and would be returning to handicapped spaces in the future. Great service overall and I had the best Cuban sandwich and calamari appetizer at the bar!
Delicious food. Nice waiter. Valet parking. Place is packed. I would definitely go again. Love it!
☝🏼Consistency is key. This restaurant always has the best customer service, bar attendance, kitchen skills, waitressing dynamic and management attentiveness. Raul & Oscar know how to conduct a team, and it is obvious on the operation of this particular Rumba Cubana restaurant. I have been to other Rumba’s, but this one, it’s definitely my favorite based on the factors previously mentioned. I also must highlight the amazing friendly staff who always make sure our dining experience is great; Jenny, Ana, Nicole, Jorge, Jorge 2, Matías, and Tiger. I’m pretty sure the rest of the other staff are amazing also, but those particular individuals, always make sure, to make us feel, like we’re eating among friends. Thanks again for making us feel like we’re dining among family. ❤️
Loved this Rumba! From the food to the service everything was on point. We had Jorge as our server and he was attentive and welcoming. We got the jalapeño margarita and the cuban punch. Arguably the best jalapeño margarita we have had. The cuban punch tasted like a vacation (nearly booked one sitting there). We got three apps and loved them all. We got the cuban sandwich and it was big and flavorful. We also got the churasco steak sandwich it was pretty good. If I had to pick gripes it would be that the fries were not very good for either entre and the steak sandwich could have had perhaps a spicy sauce on it, but that's really knit picking. The pricing was very reasonable and they offer valet parking. Would definitely visit again. Overall I give this particular Rumba Cubana a 4.5 out of 5, an NJ Cuban must visit.

Got the steak Sandwich, it was good and could have been built with a little more meat.
Got tres leches cake, I liked that it was in a special dish, it was ok but not in love with the flavor.
I'll certainly try other things soon.
