On a rare "out for dinner" treat with my husband, we went to Hanami since we were in Clinton. We were so happy to hear they were open and had survived the past couple of years. We were skeptical after reading a review from a month ago, but we decided to go anyway. We were very happy with the service, meal and cleanliness. We had sake, sushi, sashimi, osaka roll, miso soup and seaweed salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. There is plenty of space between tables and I saw a steady stream of pick up deliveries happening. The locals must enjoy this place. 4 stars because I don't believe it has a full bar or the greatest ambience, and it can be a little pricey, but the sake is good, the decor is good enough, and the quality of what we had was worth it.
Good service, menu had many options i hadnt seen at other Japanese restaurants. Food was excellent, sushi was fresh! Dessert can never go wrong with fried ice cream!!
Service was great. Waitresses were very helpful and answered many questions we had about the food and their culture. Sushi was fresh and made quickly.
The sushi was of excellent quality for not being west coast. Service was good. Worth a drive to try.
Recently found this place and have taken out food two times. No eat-in yet. The food has been excellent. Very fresh seafood/ sushi. Looking forward to dine inhouse.
The tuna is great. Nice dark red cuts. A lot of sushi rolls with a local blend soft shell crab. A bit pricey, but on par for the area's prices.
Best sushi restaurant on the East Shore. Been around for quite a while so you know it's quality. If they have the white tuna sashimi , it is the 1. I always tried to get the daily specials as they are often One of a Kind hits. The last one was tuna tartare. Killer!
