Really liked "The Spruce" as the locals call it. It was a small cozy bar. The bartenders were attentive and friendly. They had plenty of beers on tap and the pizza was on point. Shared a large with one other guy and we were stuffed. It is thin crust style. We had it with mushrooms, pepperoni and sausage. Had a Cold Snap draft and it was pretty good. It stood up to it's name with a cool finish and winter spices.

I don't spend time in bars, but I can tell you they have some goo take out pizza. Their pizza is a thin crust pizza an I love it. They also have other items for takeout. Its worth stopping in to pickup a menu. There is a nice outdoor area for playing outside games like horseshoes an things like that as well if you are planning on going to the bar for a few drinks while you wait for your pizza.

Nick was probably the best bartender I have ever come across in a town/bar I have never been to before. He introduced himself and asked my name and remembered it. Bar policy might require a license/ I'd to be left to run a tab but he didn't enforce it. I wish I lived closer to Clinton because this place could easily be my regular stomping ground. Jimmy.

This place is great! The food is hot, fresh and delicious. The bartender's are friendly and attentive. The owner hangs out with the customers to make sure all is well and mingles. The patrons are just as warm and friendly. Can't say enough good things about the place.

Always a friendly and comfortable place to stop into in the community. I've lived here 13 years and wish I found it sooner because the chicken fingers and onion rings are amazing. They always use fresh chicken and the onion rings are the old fashioned batter dipped ones. They go great with a pitcher of beer and a game of shuffleboard. They have trivia night once a week and live music on occasion. In the summer they play Cornhole and horseshoes in the yard, I'm looking forward to that. Also the peanut butter and jelly wings are a hella mess and look like it too but oh so good! Who would have thought?

SPREAD THE WORD THIS PLACE OFF THE ZING I dont like many taverns but this one is now on my top list. Originally from baltimore and was here only for one night on a business trip. I couldnt be happier that I found this golden Tavern. Pizza is great, bartender and the people are the most open that I have meet through my travel (and am In a different state every week). 5/5 a hundred times over.
