Home. That’s the best word to describe my visits to the Peery House. It’s warm, inviting, cozy, with a Home Sweet Home feel. AND THE FOOD is second to none! The excellent hospitality makes me want to return frequently. Then there’s the countryside. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Rolling hills with trees, pastures, farm land, old barns and ponds are some of the most picturesque landscapes I’ve ever seen. Oh, did I mention the food is amazing! The owner is a trained chef!
The Perry House is just like home. I’m on the road most of the year and its rare that I find a place that I don’t want to leave. Kristia is so kind and was very thorough with details. When we arrived she met us on site and showed us the property, there were fresh cupcakes and muffins which were amazing! She even steams the linens. The house was clean and the kitchen was cozy. I can’t wait to go back!
My children and I stayed at the Peery House April of 2018. As if the rolling hills and gorgeous Kentucky scenery weren’t enough, Kristia is the warmest, most gracious hostess. And the house itself? If a house could hug you, this one would. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and was exactly what we needed. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is a dream. Stay here! It’s the vacation you never knew you needed.
Wonderful time spent in a comfortable home, a comfortable bed, in the country. Fresh air and a farmhouse feel with all the modern amenities. LOVED the free Netflix and the flavored teas and snack options.

If you're searching for a little slice of heaven without the trappings of city congestion and traffic, then you should book a stay here. The fresh air combined with the country atmosphere will help u recharge your jets. The accommodations are great and the food is to die for!
The Peery House is a hidden gem in a beautiful country setting. Kristia is warm and friendly and provided us all we needed for a cozy weekend away. Her home is immaculately clean and comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve stayed in a long time! We enjoyed relaxing in the charming farm house with a nice a warm cup of her “not so famous hot cocoa.” The kitchen was stocked with breakfast food and other necessities to cook ourselves. We will definetly return sometime and highly recommend this place!

The Peery House is a quaint country home that radiates coziness and character. The history in this house is palpable and adds to the charm. We spent the first half-hour just walking around admiring the different rooms, the furniture/decor, and all the old photographs that graced the walls. Kristia, the host, is absolutely amazing and certainly takes good care of her guests. Kristia went out of her way to help us get settled in and to make sure we felt right at home. The amenities were amazing: Netflix, snacks, great wifi, books, and board games were all at our disposal. The shower was spacious and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, and there were as many fresh towels as we could have asked for. The kitchen was chock-full of granola bars, muffins, coffee, water, and farm-fresh eggs if we wanted them. The landscape around the house is GORGEOUS, especially in the height of summer when we were there, with a beautiful green lawn and rustic barns in the background. We felt safe with the secure lock system they had in place on the door. Overwhelmingly, the host's hospitality was the best part of our stay, and I would certainly stay there again if the opportunity were to arise. The Peery House is a topnotch Airbnb, and I would recommend it to anyone.
The Peery House is the most wonderful bed and breakfast. Kristia made my husband and I feel so welcome, and the house itself is clean and furnished with love and care. My husband said that it was just like being at his grandmother's house when he was a child. Kristia's cupcakes are the best we've ever had. Even though we have moved to the area, we will be back to visit.
