The vegetarian options are delicious, and the spicy level is very accurate (4* was HOT! We will try 5* next time!)! Eknath is very nice and welcoming. They have good portion size, flavorful naan, and all around enjoyed everything.

Loved their Paneer Butter masala and Malai Kofta! I enjoyed these lovely curries along with fresh and fluffy Garlic Naan :-) I'd surely recommend this restaurant if you are in and around Des Moines.

Favorite restaurant around! I love namaste! Their butter chicken and chicken tikka marsala can't be topped! Their naan is to die for, and Andrew always takes such good care of us!

Wonderful customer service! Here is the story: my mother had ordered a few things to-go, and there was a miscommunication somewhere about what she wanted to order and the amount of spice in it, etc. Not sure if it was on her end or not, but in any case- Long story short, she called and the host who answered the phone said that if we brought back the meal they would remake it for her. And they did, right away! I offered to pay them for their efforts to remake her food but they declined. I hardly had to wait at all, and the host who assisted me was very friendly and helpful. My mother tasted the remade meal and said it was absolutely perfect and was very happy! So I would 100% recommend this restaurant, not only for the awesome food, but also for the awesome people working there. Thank you!

I have tried many many different Indian restaurants before finally finding this place. Namaste India has, no question, the Best tasting Indian food out of all of them. Great food, great service! Some of my favorites: Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Koorma, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Chana Batura.

My friend and I drove to Des Moines specifically to have dinner at this restaurant on the recommendation from a friend who also joined us for dinner. The trip was well worth it!! The waiter was very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing! My only regret is that this restaurant is not closer to where I live!!

Best Indian food in Des Moines and I've tried many other places. Ignan is the nicest server and I have yet to try something I didn't like!

This is, bar none, the best Indian restaurant I have ever patroned. I highly recommend their extremely reasonable buffet (EVEN WEEKENDS!!!). And if you are not sure what to get or if you just want to try something outside of chicken curry, ask your server. They will recommend! So nice, so reasonable and definitely SO TASTY!!!

Clean and inviting. Very friendly owner. Huge assortment of food, but also other trinkets and pretty things. Everything is organized and very reasonably priced. I went in to buy henna and left with that and more!

Namaste Supermarket is always a lovely place to buy great foods and other household products that are hard to find elsewhere. The frozen paneer cubes are a real gem to find!! Nice big store. Looking forward to an Indian Restaurant there again too.

The store is clean, and the staff is always pleasant. There is always some unique stuff in here, and I always come out with more than I came in for. I love that I can get spices here for pretty cheap - for instance I got a bag of turmeric for less than $2 - I can't recall the ounces but it is a good sized bag. They also have cookies that are like oreos that are called "Happy Happy" and they've changed my life... so effing good!
