Been here a few times already: Service is warm, friendly, attentive, quick. Atmosphere is inviting, relaxed, eclectic. Food is delicious, creative without being confusing, top quality. It tastes very healthy, fresh - all sandwiches have a twist on them - such as a slice of fruit or slaw. The cost is very reasonable. Also, the wall is used as a bit of a showcase for local art. This is the perfect place to go for your 30-Minute lunch break. I highly recommend it. My only complaint is the beverage selection is a little weak. It's a bit of a shame to see that this place is only during lunch. I believe this place would absolutely *thrive* if it were in Center Square, was open for dinner, and had coffee.

The Cafe had to move to a new location, so now it is at 41 State Street with an entrance from Broadway too. The menu includes sandwiches, soups and salads, all made fresh to order. They care about recycling, composting and re-using, so in my book that all adds up to a great little cafe. They source from local farms and include wonderful breads and classic flavors. It's definitely got a 70's flavor - in a good way. So crunch the granola and enjoy a lunch made with loving care.

Like an oasis, this heavenly place in an unusual location is absolutely delightful. Down-to-earth gourmet lunch items and a kind staff makes it feel like you ran home for lunch at mom's. Healthy comfort food and a warm smile - everything you need to make it through your afternoon at the office. What could make this place better? Come home to Troy, Katrin!!! We miss you!!!

I found this place while serving on a jury, and was pleasantly surprised to see it's not your usual sandwich joint. The food is delicious, creative, and from fresh ingredients. The staff are friendly. And the prices aren't bad.

This is a great place ticked away in an office building. I'm surprised more people don't know about it. The food is great but it's also a nice place to grab a cup of coffee and get some work done. This is a rare find i Albany and worth a visit.
