Great place. Food is really good, not your average bar food. The Asian Buffalo Wings are extremely good.
Kind of loud due to a all wood atmosphere so get ready for that.
I’ve eaten most everything on the menu, never had a bad thing yet.
So a must do bar restaurant!
Excellent jewel hidden off the beaten path. Great place for breakfast, brunch abd dinner. I've the blackened grouper, Cajun pasta, seafood omelet, Cobb salad and various other dishes and they are always amazing. Service is second to none. I normally have Zipporah as my waitress and she takes good care of us. A favorite stop whether I'm headed to or from the airport.
As I stated in one of my previously blogs, I have a few places to share from our Atlanta Trip. This particular spot the Corner Grille was suggested to me by Atlanta Eats. The Corner Grille is a restaurant that serves traditional American cuisine with Cajun influences. I have to be honest, I was a little hesitant when I heard that the restaurant had Cajun Influences. Some places we have traveled in the past have said the same thing and it was nothing like our food in Louisiana.
Nice little place to have dinner. I had the pork chop and mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy and it was tasty. Others in my group got the Cajun pasta which I thought was excellent and the shrimp and grits which was also very good. The only thing I didn't care for was the appetizer which was a shrimp and corn fritter.
We were looking for a restaurant other than our hotel and found the Corner Grille. The service was super friendly and the food equally as good. We shared the shrimp and grits and were blown away by it. We didn't expect to find something this good close to the airport. Would love to eat here again!
Everything's good. The menu isn't too extensive, but they do a fantastic job with everything they offer. There aren't many tables so don't come during the lunch rush and expect to get seats immediately. They do a good job of keeping you on pace and turn the tables fast. Don't linger after you pay your check. I'M HUNGRY AND NEED THAT TABLE!!
Very Good overall- atmosphere is a little short but doable And space is the real fault. They do not have liquor but have creative cocktails that were surprisingly good. The food was a home run - salad super fresh and delicious...beautiful. Shrimp Cobb. Only hope they get the traffic to stay around.
My wife and I stumbled upon this awesome restaurant while visiting. Excellent food, great service. Nice to get away from the chains and find authentic local food. We will definitely be back.
Outstanding food and friendly service, you can't go wrong here. Homemade Caesar dressing had just a nibble of anchovies (sweet!). Blackened salmon was spicy but not overwhelmingly salty. Can't wait to get back here for the shrimp & grits and catfish.
This place was awesome! My hamburger was one of the best I've had in a long time and my husband said his fish sandwich was one of the best ever. Their coleslaw is amazing! Everything g tasted so fresh and we had great service as well. We would definitely go back if we were in the area again!
Loved it. This place was awesome. There is nothing bad that I can say about it. I loved the waitresses the most. They are beautiful. I was staring and distracted.
I went there today for lunch. Our server was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. I ordered the catfish and shrimp w/ coleslaw and fries. PHENOMENAL!!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food and great service.
This place is everything I look for in a breakfast spot. Great coffee, awesome fresh omelets and good service along with a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Wow! Amazing breakfast. Parents flew into town and were hungry. Pulled up US and happened to see Corner Grille was close and had good reviews . So glad we stopped. Food was fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. Service was great too. Cannot wait to go back. This was all my folks talked about today!!
Enjoyed a nice breakfast on an early Saturday afternoon. Great service and atmosphere. Will definitely return and try out dinner.
I had the Cajun Pasta and my husband had the Shrimp Po-Boy with Onion Rings. Both dishes were great! It's a cute place also.
Good food, VERY clean and friendly staff. But kid-friendly? Our 2 year old chair danced to the music and watched a freight train go by right outside the window. But Limited kid menu and no changing table. I don't think they are looking for kids.
One word....delicious!!!! great little hidden gem in college park, food was awesome as well as our server Charisma well worth the drive from Fayetteville!!! we will be back for sure!!
What a nice surprise! Our family of 5 found this restaurant via Urbanspoon and gave it a try for Sunday brunch. We had five different meals and all were excellent. The fried trout and grits, Cajun omelette, blueberry pancakes, French toast, and spinach omelette were our choices. We had just completed a trip to South Beach in Miami and this chef would do well there! HIGHLY recommend this establishment!
Decor is nice, simple, and elegant. Waitress was great. Shrimp and Grits was good. Not expensive.
Finger Lickin Good. No matter what you select on the menu, you will not be disappointed. Went with 4 people and we all tried something different and we all loved it. The chicken and waffles as well as the shrimp & grits are off the chain.
Make your way to the Corner Grille and you will not be disappointed with the food, service or price.
Love this place! Everything was fabulous! Food, decor, service and overall feeling. Had the shrimp and grits. Yum!
This is the kind of place worth driving a little further to eat or hopping the Marta and heading down to College Park. This family run spot is the kind of place you want to do well. We ate with my family for an early Sunday breakfast before heading to Scott's Antique Market. I had the Cajun omelette with blackened crawfish tails and veggies. It was good, but the North Georgia course ground grits were outstanding! The French toast vanished quickly off my cousins plate, and the spinach and egg white omelet was outstanding according to my mother. We'll be back next time were in town.
Service a bit slow but my meal was delicious! Shrimp and grits with an incredible Parmesan cream sauce. Others in my group had Chicken and waffles, and grilled salmon over eggs and spinach. Quaint-would definitely go back.
The Corner Grille was great. Food was good, I love how nice the staff is. Everyone was very nice when it came time to seat and place our orders.
Went with the Shrimp and Grits and was very pleased. Lots of shrimp in the bowl, needed a little more grits to keep up with the amount of sausage and Shrimp in the bowl. I would recommend trying this place out if you are in town!
Absolutely loved everything about my lunch visit to this location. The portion sizes are huge so come hungry. I had the honor of being waited on by one of the owners and he provided Top Notch customer service. I look forward to returning in the future.
First-time customer. Aesthetically pleasing and calming environment. Excellent service. I had the salmon club sandwich & fries. It was amazing!
Moreover, my mother had the grouper; the sauce was flavorful, and the brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked. Our server Kenneth was great! If I'm ever over this way, I'll be sure to drop by again and try something else.
AMAZING! Me &’ my fiancé came here for the first time today &’ we will definitely be back. Our waiter Kenneth ( I think was his name ) was great. He wasn’t in our face every 2 seconds, didn’t forget our Order, brought drinks without us asking just an overall good experience. Food was 10/10 the presentation was very nice.
I started coming here when I first moved to the Atlanta area, and it’s been a while but glad to be back. The ambiance, and service is always great in this place. I’ll admit sometimes the very first impression can throw you off however once seated you will be extremely happy..
Also a special shout out to Vanessa and Kenneth who throw that extra something something on it.
Every single food and drink I order was great! I highly highly recommend the Corner Grille! Their margarita knocked my socks off, it was that delicious! I don’t even like gumbo, but I tasted their gumbo and quickly changed my mind! I also order their Cajun pasta. If I could eat that for the rest of my life, I would die happy. So delicious. Again highly recommend!!!
Me and my mom ate here after a long day of travel and we both loved it. The food was really good and we think the price was worth it. It’s a little hard to get parking over there but it’s definitely doable. I would eat here again if I’m in the area.
