Kamei Sushi & Grill is fantastic! Tucked into the shopping center, and just around the corner from H‑E‑B, this little gem is a keeper. The chef runs a tight ship, and her fish is a better quality than I have seen or tasted in larger, “fancier” establishments. She makes exquisite dishes and is the only one behind the sushi bar. The dishes that come from her kitchen are equally as perfect. Visit Kamei when you want true Japanese fare, not just a chain sushi restaurant. Enjoy!

Best crab cakes I’ve ever had! They were so fresh and just amazing. The sushi was also spot on! Very well priced! The soup and salad also amazing. Definitely recommend this place

This is my favorite lunch spot in the College Station area. Great food and great service! My favorite dish is the “Aaron Roll” (nice name, right?), and their miso soup is excellent.

The owner/chef had a restaurant in California before coming here. The soup was good, with bits of seaweed and tiny cubed tofu. The salad was crisp and had plenty of dressing. My sushi was good, but the portions could have been more generous. Maybe because this was the lunch sushi special, the portions are smaller. My husband chose the two item bento box. He was happy with it. We came before noon and our food came out very quickly. The server, Mona, was pleasant and friendly.

By far the best sushi place in town especially for vegetarians! I tried their tofu bento box. It came with a spicy tofu with gravy, rice, tempura, a spring roll and avocado sushi rolls. It was decent. But their holy shiitake rolls is a must try. I have had vegetarian sushi in many places including some restaurants in Japan and this is probably the best sushi rolls I have ever had. 4.5 stars because it’s a bit of a drive for those of us living close to TAMU campus (located on WDFitch pkwy).

Tasty is not bad, but not 5-stars because I can't fill the voids of sushi. Also, the quantity of neta(ingrients on rice) is a little bit small. Overall, not bad but I think it's not the best in this town.
