I’m not from BCS and only here for work for a few months. I google almost everything I want to find and big on reviews. The first sushi place that came up was this place and the reviews were great, so I decided to give it a shot. The reviews were right, this place was delicious and inexpensive. I found my sushi place while being here!
Always great service and consistent food with an excellent price point. I also really like that they offer a "VIP Roll" (chefs choice sushi roll) I've ordered it several times and have received a fantastic variety.
It was awesome! great serving sizes for the price. Love the Bento Boxes! I highly recommend them!

We absolutely LOVE this place!! Service isn't so great, but the food is worth it EVERY time! Aji used to be Pho Johns and they had amazing pho! What used to be Haiku sushi (one of our favorite sushi restraunts in CS on University) has combined with Pho Johns. Aji is now our fav cause we can get both!!!! Try it you wont be disappointed.
Showed up with a party of 14 friends and family and this place delivered! Fresh, well prepared sushi and the food was great. Our service was surprisingly quick for such a large group and we had no complaints. We will definitely be back!!!

Incredible sushi, huge bento box for lunch, and spicy ramen with great flavor. Our server was new, but she did great! All day Happy Hour prices, great variety of bento boxes, sushi, and appetizers! This was our first time here but we can’t wait to come back!
Today, I tried the 회덮밥 here. (I don't want to cook today) The food is better than I expected.(Actually I have some expectations whenever I come here.) The taste is almost same when I had it in Korea. I've never tried 회덮밥 at another Japanese restaurant in CS, however, if you want to enjoy 회덮밥 (korean style sushi bowl), I definitely recommend this place
I ordered chirashi which has 12 pieces of different fish served with wasabi and ginger. Portion was really satisfying and ingredients were all fresh and tasted great. I also ordered tempura cheesecake that is served warm and it was also great, actually I think this version of cheesecake tastes better than the regular one. Staff was very friendly and they regularly checked for water refills and asked me if everything was good. Overall, I have had one of my best experiences in College Station in terms of dining in.
Great experience with our very efficient server Will. The crab balls are excellent value with 4 huge pieces (imitation crab but still tasty) for $5. Ahi tuna bowl is massive; easily lunch and dinner for a light eater. The teriyaki pork gets a 4/5 for me - too much sauce and a bit too salty. Overall, great value for reasonable Japanese-American cuisine. Total $31 with tax and tip for app and two entrees.
Food was good but service MEGA rushed. I’m not sure what happened. We ordered some sushi rolls, entrees and I ordered some sake but I also asked for the dessert menu. We were given our check halfway through our main meal with no time to order dessert. Please let us chill, drink a bit and have dessert. The longer we are there the better we tip (of course we still tip). We got no dessert which was sad but not a big deal. Maybe they were just nervous but it made my friend and I feel like they wanted us out.
Everything was delicious. From the Cowboy Burrito (I know - but it's in rice paper rather than a tortilla, with tuna, salmon...) to the red bean ice cream (that sounded weird enough that I had to try it too). It was all great.
I come here for the bowls usually and the only thing I wish is that they had more content. The bowls are usually comprised of 80% rice and just a little bit of fish.
