Fantastic food! They just changed their menu, so as of the day I’m writing this review, the online menu does not accurately reflect what they have. We went on a Saturday night and did not need a reservation. This is not the place for traditional Mexican dishes. Rather, the food takes Mexican classics and puts a fresh and modern twist on them. My girlfriend and I did a tapas style dinner. We had the flavor of the day empanadas, pork belly quesadilla, and nachos with Jack fruit. Everything tasted amazing. I specifically loved the pork belly quesadilla as it was juicy and flavorful. The empanada flavor was goat cheese and vegetable, and came with an amazing fruity sauce. The three dishes were enough to fill us up and bring some nachos home. Service was slightly slow, but I was fine with it as we were enjoying ourselves.
While I’m not vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised at how many vegetarian options were offered. 2/3 of our dishes were vegetarian friendly and delish! Would 100 percent recommend and would definitely come back with some of my vegetarian friends. It’s BYOB, so make sure you bring tequila for their house made margarita mix. I cannot wait to come back!
Food is pretty good! Took a bit for it to come out but clearly freshly prepared. Very cozy and the staff is super friendly and inviting. Collingswood is a dry town but they will provide the margaritas mix and glasses if you BYOB. Overall nice place definitely recommend.
There was a party of 9 at our table. The staff accomodated us by giving us time to "chat" before asking if we were ready to order. The service and food were very good and when none of us who ordered a particular dessert liked it, the manager deducted it from our bill. Even as it approached closing time, they did not hustle us out the door. We all enjoyed ourselves and the food.
The place was very nice, the people who work here are very friendly and the food is very good. The only thing is because the place is small you have to call for reservations. While that's not a big deal today with other places, here you have to call way ahead because they get booked up quickly.
My mom and I attended the Mayfair festival yesterday and ended up grabbing lunch here. It was so delicious, by far the best guacamole I’ve ever had anywhere! And that’s saying a lot since I’ve traveled all over the country and Mexican food is usually my go to. Prices are reasonable, all the staff was extremely nice as well. Will definitely be back here again!
