What a great spot for a small, intimate wedding reception! Our sincere thanks to Eric the manager, and our waiter, Nicky. The evening went off without a hitch and we planned this event from central Iowa, 750 miles away! The food was delicious. Loved the Chicken Marsala and the lasagne was the best I have ever had. And don't leave without having a limoncello. Thank you so much!

Phenomenal! From the food to the service...we celebrated Mother's Day tonight and had a wonderful evening together. From the moment we walked in the door we treated to excellent service. Jennifer was knowledgeable and had great suggestions when we asked what were her favorites. Complimentary house bread & oil/balsamic vinegar with herbs was great. Water glasses were kept full. Attentive service. We started off with bruschetta & the Burrata alla Bella Vita. Delicious combination of flavors! For salad choices we ordered 2 Insalata Cesare & 2 Insalata Primavera(candied walnuts were yummy). For entrees- Melanzane alla Parmigiana(eggplant was tender with lots of wonderful tomato sauce & cheeses), Fettuccine Alla Vodka con Gamberi,(shrimp cooked perfect, loved the sauce) Linguini alle Vongole(heaven!), and Scaloppine di Pollo Marsala(chicken was tender & marsala sauce was excellent). Each of has had wine with our dinner . We ended our lovely evening but sharing some fabulous Tiramisu & Crème Brûlée. Everything was delicious. I think portions were just right! The chef went to culinary school in Italy, from presentation to flavors you can see he takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend this place for a delicious fine dining experience. We will be back!

Our first evening at La Bella Vita and felt like we visited Italy again. Exquisite dining with not one single complaint. Excellent customer services that were attentive and kind. We shall return and excited a place like this exists in our town and state.

Hands down one of the best; if not the best Italian joints in town. Most of the other places that I would call competition have certain things about them that they are specialize in. Where the La Bella Vita specializes in everything they serve. You don't get a great meal and then have something else lacking, it is an all-around experience that is worth revisiting. My only issue is location, the place isn't easy to find and then it always looks like there is no parking out front because the parking lot is behind the building. But don't let this stop you, this place rocks! We will be visiting there for Mother’s Day once again. Thanks La Bella Vita for doing what you do.

Very accommodating for vegetarians! I kept thinking, "when you're here, you're family" because I felt like I was dining at someone's home rather than a restaurant. The service was stellar and our server was clearly happy with his job. He made us feel very welcome. The food was so delicious! They didn't use cheap olive oil with the bread and our manicotti was baked to perfection. I can't wait to go back for some more of those hand-rolled manicotti!!!

Found the best Italian restaurant in the Springs! The photos don’t do the food justice. Everything was delicate and delicious….The sauce on the chicken rolatini was so good that it even made spinach palatable to a toddler. Caesar salad and Tiramisu were excellent too. Our waiter was attentive, fast, and made great recommendations.

This place was upscale-cozy. You can dress up or go casual. The service was great. The food was delicious, our group loved everything we tried. A little more pricey but worth it.

Husband and I came across this place after making a reservation at a different Italian restaurant and showing up for our reservation to find a note on the door that they were closed due to staffing and nobody telling us. This place exceeded our expectation, our server Alexa was amazing. My husband and I are both servers and she did such an amazing job. The manger Vito came out and spoke with us at the end and really just topped the great experience for us. My husband is Italian and this place is definitely authentic Italian. I think we found our new spot and WILL be returning.

We loved the dining experience!! We (4 of us) arrived at 5 (last-minute dinner reservation) for a birthday celebration! Since they just opened, we had our pick of seating in one of their dining areas. That said, it wasn't 30 minutes later and the restaurant was full!! The wait staff was very attentive and plentiful!! Two of us started with drinks, which included a Dirty Martini (my wife loves them) and a Black Walnut Old Fashioned (the Birthday honoree)! They both said the drinks were delicious and provided a light buzz (which says you got what you paid for (full strength)!! We were brought fresh bread that was light and airy along with oil and vinegar for dipping. We were surprised it didn't come with some herbs in the oil. I asked for butter, and it was brought to the table right away even though it's not typically offered that way. We were offered appetizers but declined hearing the portions were generous. The meals themselves were excellent!! If you had the special, it came with sides; if not, then you chose ala carte. My wife chose the special, which was Salmon in a Lobster Tomato Cream sauce with Roasted Potatoes and Spinach. It was perfectly prepared and presented! It was flavorful, very filling; and sampled by everyone at the table!! We also had the Linguini alla Vongole Thin flat noodles sautéed with garlic, olive oil, Crushed Red Pepper, clams, white wine, and Parsley. It presented well and tasted good but was bland. The clams were plentiful and very tasty! The birthday honoree had the Rigatoni alla Carre; Sundried Tomatoes, Large tubular pasta tossed with Chicken, fresh Mushrooms, and Artichokes in a homemade Pesto Cream sauce again super delicious. I had the Lasagna Bolognese, which was also good. That said, it seemed like a small portion for the price (this was the only (in my opinion) small proportioned meal. I was glad I ordered the Mista salad with my meal to help fill me up. We also had two Cesare salads, and they were typical salads but again generous in proportion!! We finished the meal with the chef, making a special desert for the birthday honoree. It was a puff pastry topped with chocolate. There was writing on the outer rim of the plate, wishing a very happy birthday!! Why only 4 stars? We sat in a booth that needed to be replaced. When we tried to slide in, the springs weren't existent, and all of us felt like we were sitting on the floor. The table was literally at my chest, leaving me to feel as though I needed a booster seat! All-in-all was a little expensive, but we had a great time! I'd highly recommend!

I visited La Bella Vita last Friday and it definitely deserves 5 stars! From the friendliness and attentiveness, to the cleanliness and cozy atmosphere, this was by far the best Italian food (authentic even!) I’ve ever had! This place does get busy rather quickly, so reservations are required. We were seated very quickly after arriving for our reservation. Thanks for the great service, will definitely be back 🤩

My husband and I had his birthday dinner here last night and we were BLOWN AWAY. Everything was amazing! From the ambiance to our amazing waiter - didn’t get his name but he was THE BEST. Very attentive and pleasant gentleman who gave us a chuckle and also top service. Now to the food! I can’t even begin to describe how good it really was! I’d never had authentic Italian and I will never have Olive Garden again. We had chicken parmigiana and another chicken dish I believe Ballotine 👌🏾 everything was AMAZING. Best birthday dinner we’ve had hands down. We will definitely be regular customers. Thank you so much La Bella Vita!

An excellent experience all around. Our waitress was Alexa and she was friendly and her recommendations were on point! I have celiac disease and heard good things about the gluten free pasta but was really blown away. I was so nervous eating the pasta because it didn't taste gluten free at all, but had no issues. The panacotta for dessert was perfect--not too sweet. This will be our go to place for celebrations and nights out.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and were excited to try out a COS classic. My brother and sister in law spoke highly of it. I made a reservation for 6 but we got there early and they sat us immediately. The food was quick, delicious, and perfect portions. Atmosphere was slightly outdated but they truly make the best out of what they have. Our waitress, Tatum, was a very kind. She was helpful and kept us filled with bread! We were pretty full from dinner to have dessert but she surprised us with free cream puffs for our anniversary! Highly recommend this place!

Everything was absolutely delicious, I asked my waitress Alexa for her favorites and she had it absolutely spot on. Excited to come back and try more, it's absolutely my new Italian place in Colorado Springs, there's nothing that compares or even comes close.

The food was great. Service was good. It was my first time coming here to La Bella Vita Ristorante in December 2018 since I've moved here to Colorado Springs 20 years ago. I'll definitely be back. The general manager shared that they are getting ready to remodel the inside. Im excited to see what they do, and it'll help the ambiance for sure. (This was my first review) This review continues for my 2nd review starts of coming to La Bella Vita about 3.5 years later after the remodel, that I came back on June 24, 2023. The owners did a good job. It's very light and airy in both sections of the restaurant. They kept the decor and tables simple, which I like. I loved that all the servers are Italian and dressed similar, all black with a bright blue apron. 💙 We started the meal with very dried bread and olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. I must highly suggest changing the bread served for this. They over toast it, and it's so dry. We tried 2 of the 3 specials they had. I love a good ravioli. This ravioli was cheese and spinach. The pasta was nice and thin, not too chewy, and the rosa sauce was flavorful. We ordered two spaghetti bolengnass, and the chicken piccate. All were tasty and had that authentic Italian feel to the dish. We shared 2 appetizers, the pan/bread salad, and calamari fritters. The calamari fritters tasted like they were air fried. I appreciate that they weren't oily, but they were too small of piece size, some tasted overly dehydrated. It was good, though, and the tomato sauce to dip in was delicious. The salad was very basic and lacked depth and character for that salad. All it had was diced cucumbers, small sliced cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, store bought croutons for the bread, and a light lemonany salad dressing with No extra parmesean cheese. It was very boring. I wouldn't order that again. We ordered the tiramisu and the spumoni ice cream 🍨 for dessert. Both were great. They make most all of their desserts in-house. The service was great! They kept our water glasses full, which is huge for me with service. One of the managers came out to great the tables to check on us at the end of the meal. The price was on the high side, and the total bill came to $152 without any alcohol or extra drinks. They do offer a 10% military discount, which helped. This was overall a nice dining experience at La Bella Vita Ristorante. Come check them out in Colorado Springs!!

Update - Came here on a date last week. They've updated the place since I was here last. Still a beautiful setting, peaceful dining, and delicious food. We both got one of the specials being offered that night as well as a dessert. IDR the name of our meals but he got tiramisu and I orange chello cake for desert. Our meal was just under $100, so a bit on the expensive end, but quite tasty. Pics are from Oct 2023. 2019 - While the uniforms are a bit confusing to me (not sure how exactly suspenders are supposed to say Italy), Everytime I have eaten here the food has been very good. The prices are better for lunch than dinner (and your chances of getting a table far better - make a reservation!), but the menu is probably smaller (not positive). If you have Celiac, they offer gf pasta as long as you call ahead a day or two. 😐 But, they have plenty of other entrees if you want to take your chances at dining here without a reservation.

Oh lord! This place is amazing!!! The entrance is a little funky but the food is out of this world! The sauce is soo savory sooo delicious. I have not been to a restaurant that spending 60 dollars on paste seem worth it. Its expensive tho but you know you get what you pay for. This place is a musssttt try!

Wow! Best Italian food in the Springs. The staff are fabulous and so welcoming. The main dining area was a little loud at first, but it was right during dinner rush so it seemed reasonable. Wonderful experience ans you won’t regret dining here if you love Italian food!

As you can tell by my name, I'm Italian and used to own a pasta company (which also sold ready to eat Italian meals, sauces, etc.). Am pretty fussy about Italian food and never found anything exceptional...until La Bella Vita. This place is worthy of New York City! I have had several different entrees (the Carpaccio is magnifico) and have found the Veal Piccata to be one of the best I have ever had. The service is excellent, the prices extremely reasonable and as I said, the food SUPERB. The atmosphere is OK...the lights a little too bright and could be less utilitarian; I gave it 5 stars anyway. BUT YOU DON'T EAT THE ATMOSPHERE...I have been to Italian restaurants here where the atmosphere is lovely, but the food is subpar, the service sketchy and the prices too high for the meal presented. I unequivocally support La Bella Vita (hope they're open for Christmas!).

According to their own advertisement, this is the best Italian Restaurant in Colorado. Based on our experience, this might be true. All our dishes were delicious. We were amazed by the portion sizes. Each dish was very flavorful but we couldn't finish it. Very friendly service.
