Such a fun place! Loved the self serve drinks, the pizza was delicious! You pay per ounce for the drinks so you can try many !

mash potatoes, green beans, salad and french fries... Wow it was good!! The atmosphere was comfortable and cozy.
I definitely recommend.
I'm looking forward to returning and trying their fried chicken or maybe their rainbow trout.

The chicken and the steak was very good. We took mom this time and she really enjoyed it. The carrot cake was so yummy and so was the fried appetizers!!

Tuesday evening 1st week in June. Short staffed like everywhere but it was only about a 15 minute wait. Place was clean but part of the restaurant is under construction for an upgrade adding a taproom style beer area. Our waitress was friendly and did a great job. We had the fried chicken which was great. Good flavor. Salads were very good. Chicken fried chicken was a little bland but a little salt and pepper fixed it up. We would recommend it.
Went there during our visit to Old Colorado City based on reviews. Our waitress was very nice. We had chicken fried chicken, chicken tenderloins and fried catfish. Chicken was really delicious, juicy and tender. Mashed potatoes and gravy also tasted good, but the catfish was on a drier side and lacked taste. In general not a bad impression, except the roughish service which could have been a norm locally, but seemed a bit slow and not as friendly as in other places we dined at while in Colorado. One of the waiters brought my daughter's soup and almost dropped it on the table as if he was annoyed by having to do the job.
The wait was twice as long as they estimated, for 5 people at 2pm. Whole country is short-staffed so it's understandable. But the service was great and food was delicious! Prime rib was super tender (medium rare) and the mashed potatoes were delicious. Frozen margarita was out of this world and the country fried chicken was amazing. Definitely will be coming back. Glad we tried it because Rudy's line was wrapped around the building
The food was too greasy for my liking but a good selection. The staff were super helpful and nice. The atmosphere was cool with a somewhat eclectic vibe. Plenty of seating. The coolest thing was that they had beer, cider, wine and mixed drinks all on tap where you pour your own and pay at that time. Would like to see that feature in more places!
Country Casual Dining is how I would classify this gem. When you enter you are greeted and immediately start a tab. This allows you to order a variety of comfort food or to sample a huge array of beers. The cool thing is the beer is sold measures from the tap. So you can try all of them having only an oz of each. The atmosphere is noisy family bar. I was goin to ding them one star for a lack of accessibility friendly restrooms but I only post five star restaurants and this place deserves to be known. There is no table service except delivery so it is very casual. Have fun! Sample a huge array of beers!
Oh my goodness. We visited for dinner at about 2000. The place was not busy at all, which is perfect for us. We ordered the appetizer combo, bell pepper soup, chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, and the caesar salad. Everything was delicious!!! Our waitress, ILA, was on top of it! A must visit for deliciousness!!!
I had the salmon it was alright the green beans were really good and the cole slaw was really tasty! My fiance had the steak which he said was delicious! He also had the green beans and mashed potatoes both of which he said were very good. I noticed they have lots of selection of beers and wines on tap. I'm not a beer or wine drinker so I didn't try anything. They give you a menu when you come into the Mason Jar and then you go up and tell them what you want and they'll bring your food to your table. Friendly atmosphere. Waitresses are very friendly and kind. I would recommend.
Incredible homemade American food. Very cozy dining room. I had their signature dish, old fashioned fried chicken. It was βlike grandma used to makeβ kind of amazing. The gravy for the homemade mashed potatoes is incredible. Biscuits are homemade and absolutely mouth watering. Service was fast and prices are very fair for the quality.
You order at the front and a lot of the establishment is self service. Probably 20 different beer taps on the wall and a few wine and margarita options as well. Food is classic bar offerings - delicious and greasy. I got their nachos and loved them!
Excellent Catfish. I was sick of eating catfish in Little Rocks AR last year and WOW, they made the greatest catfish dish at Mason Jar. Pork Chops were good. Drinks were ok. Cozy restaurant with nice decoration. Friendly hostess but our waitress was not very nice
Everything was so good and the atmosphere was very homey and laid back. We had the salmon and prime rib and it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The green beans and loaded baked potato were good too! Our waitress Carly was so sweet and attentive as well. Would def come back again!

I did have a great time here. My waitress was a bit short with me but got everything right and got my food pretty quick. Everybody else was super nice and super helpful. I got about four refills of water from staff walking by, so that was nice. The place started to get busy a few minutes before I left and they handle themselves very well. There pan was out of ink so I couldn't write my comments on their comment cards they hand out so I hope they read this and see that I did have a nice time and hope to go back someday!
Very impressive. I had split pea and ham soup for the first time in my life... great! My girlfriend and I both really loved the atmosphere and all the food. Hot and flavorful. Chic noodle was also great. Food is natural and homemade. Just awesome.
