Brats!. The brats, the dogs, and even the philly cheese steak is amazing... the staff is always friendly and the place is always busy... just a little on the pricy side but I've been coming here since I was a child with my grandparents... I always bring friends and visitors to this spot.
The most amazing white veal brat I've ever had. I would take a trip just to have another. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They were great with the kids and the prices are very affordable. The hours are limited, they close at 4pm during the winter and their summer hours they close at 6pm (starting 1 may). We made it just in time to be their last customers and no less than 3 sets of people showed up just a few minutes too late. Have faith and try to make it on time. It's worth it.
OOoooDoggies. I very luckily discovered Margo's twenty years ago. Pure Vienna Beef hot dogs brought in from Chicago. The menu is extensive. If you could want it they have it. Of everything they offer the classic Chicago dog is their signature item. If it's lunch you will have to stand in line. It's always been worth my wait.
Best chicago dogs I've ever had and I'm from chicago.
In from Ohio. My Aunt recommended this place for lunch and raved about their fries so we went. It did NOT disappoint!! You have to try the green chili fries. If you come to this area and don't try the green chili you are missing out!! The green chili dogs with cheese are AMAZING!!! The onion rings are great. We will come back every year we're out. It's not cheap but it's great food. Park in the back and walk up and order and then wait for her to yell your name out the door. It's great! There is nowhere to eat there but plenty of places within walking distance to sit and eat.
Great dogs at a for price. Nicely seasoned and topped too. Overall delicious for what it was and great fries too. The spice is not too spicy though. Overall enjoyed our food
First off, how cute is this place! Delicious Chicago dogs, brats, chili fries. We can’t wait to come back and try everything else😄 I love the little train picnic table area, complete with a mountain view.
This is the best place in town to get hotdogs or sausages. The food is excellent and the service is great. The owner is a great lady and everyone I know that has gone there just loves it. Anything from a plain dog to a fully dressed Chicago style.
The only hot dogs I eat and the best spicy fries around. The staff is friendly and treats you like family. Enough veggies on a Chicago dog to call it a salad.
This place is hands down the best. Cant really beat the classic chicago dog but the Texas Tijuana is the move if you like spicey. 10/10 recommend stopping by
Margo is a hoot! What a great place to have an awesome All American hot dog or sausage. The Chicago dog is the classic, don't leave without getting one to take with you. My wife had the Texas dog, Yummy😋! I love the atmosphere, the nostalgic pictures on the walls and the diverse group that visits here. Stop and have one or two with some onion rings, it's a great afternoon!

Food was great, service was fast, very local operation. Nice woman at the counter. It seems there were people entering or calling with incorrect (old) information on food options and prices. Here are the current food options, hours, and prices (see pictures).
Buns seem to be smaller than before. The Chicago dog fixing donot fit in the bun very hard to eat. The hotdog doesn't seem to taste as good as before either. It was still good. The french fries are excellent nothing wrong with them.
There's a reason this has been around for so long. Amazing service, amazing food, amazing area amazing all around!!
As a native a native to Illinois this is one of the best Chicago style hot dog joints EVER! They do better than most in actual Chicago, the foods not greasy here and the atmosphere is so welcoming, feels like I’m back home. The prices are amazing and very affordable. Will definitely be coming back every time I’m in the area!
Picnic area was uncovered and it was hot outside, no indoor seating. Dogs were delicious and condiments done well. Loved battered onion rings too!
Margo is the sweetest. She knows you by name and the hotdogs are fresh and great. I love this neat little place.
A day in Manitou topped off with some great Chicago style dogs! I lived that they were down to earth and real life people... No fake faces of glass covered in a facade. Jokes, personable, and incredible food at the right price.
If ya jlike Chicago style, swing on through for a quick bite under the shade of umbrellas and picnic tables. A good breeze and delightful company ought to be enjoyed with these hefty dogs. Perfection!
Run down lil shack with only outdoor seating in direct sun, but worth it because these are easily the best hotdogs in the city. Possibly the state.
