Really have to try the chicken tacos, the meat is marinaded and reminds me of the food trucks in San Diego. Served with rice and classic Mexican retried beans.
Needs a cleaning.. Ok so the place looks dilapidated and it needs a nice cleaning but after trying a similar style of food at a location off stetson hills I was really missing Albertacos. This place is the spot for this kind of food period. I really like the red sauce! I wish it was a bit spicier but that's just me.
Coming from Albuquerque, NM, my wife and I are always looking for a restaurant with good breakfast burritos. Albertaco's breakfast burritos are fantastic. They even come with a pretty decent red chile if you ask for it. One of my favorite places to eat in Colorado Springs
This dive has great mexican food. Their breakfast burritos are the bomb. Their salsa is authentic. Love the extra large flour tortillas.

MMMM baby. Got hooked on Albertaco's from the guys in the tire shop I work with. Started with the breakfast burrito, which is amazing and is great with either sour cream or guac or both. Huge burrito with real meat and eggs and potatoes and extra cheese. That baby keeps you full til lunch time and works efficiently as a hangover cure as well. Gotta have the green salsa with it. Keeps you sweating.
I do enjoy the rest of thier menu too. The two taco meal is great and the tortas are really good and actually authentic too. Top it off with a large horchata and you've got a great mexican place that is cheap and serves the real deal. Enjoy.
Guilty Pleasure!. None of that Jack-In-The-Box corporate owned Q-Doba shenanigans here. This is the real deal - hole in the wall, munchies, drunk but starving, to hell with size 32 pants because I feel like clogging my artery, I don't want to know what goes on in the back, how the heck did that guy take my order when we were speaking two different language - kind of food.
Plain and simple, if you want some really dirty good Mexican food then Albertaco's is for you. I've eaten enough of this stuff that I now find myself in a strict diet and probably took 3 years out of my life. I highly recommend their beef taco but make sure you tilt it to the side for a few minutes to allow all the excess grease to drip out so you can save it for the next time you deep fry your chicken wings at home.
Big plus - you can avoid having to sit inside (and you want to avoid the inside) by going through the state-of-the-art drive through.
Good food, bad atmosphere, they don't speak English well, open all the time.
Underrated Taco Spot. I used to come
Frequently, as this has to be one of my Taco Spots. The service is pretty good, and inside is about what'd you'd expect for fast food.
Now, I normally get the number (#16) that comes with 3 rolled beef tacos, with a side of rice and beans. And let me tell you there some of the best tacos I've ever had. The beef is crispy to a good extent, and it comes with guacamole and sour cream, which also tastes fresh. The rice and beans are really good, and I recommend combining them together.
Overall, I'd highly recommend coming to Albert Tacos if you love 🌮.

AMAZING FOOD, SERVICE, AND QUALITY! Albertacos is amazing, just want to start with, I just had the worst experience with a commercial food delivery (Dominoes) although the manager the NEXT day fixed it. Couldn't find anywhere open, and luckily came across Albertacos (at one in the morning) and they delivered, in SO many ways! Opened my carne asada fries and I was in shock (see photos), even after stirring, so much delicious meat AND, it was still warm. The kids (4) all destroyed the cheese quesadilla and the rolled tacos (also pictured, covered in cheese, because my wife and I ordered our own). After all that amazing deliciousness, I opened the chicken enchilada (which is the only way I choose to rate any mexican food) to find a chicken-packed, cheese covered, delicious piece of heaven (and there were two)! I was not even disappointed for half a second and even called to tell the manager (Laura (spelling)) how amazing it truly was! I HATE complaining about food! I enjoy letting people know when it is right! Too many people complain and just expect great food. Dont you work better when praised? Spend more time appreciating this fine art! THANK YOU ALBERTACOS!
1st time trying this place. I got a two enchilada plate. I got one chicken enchilada and one beef. Both I thought were very delicious but the chicken was definitely better . The rice and beans that came with the plate were ..ok. The restaurant was very clean, price was decent, quantity was plenty,, with nice Mexican music playing in the background. Over all enjoyed the experience. Wish I could have tried a taco but I'm stuffed.

This isn’t the first time I’ve been here. I’ve been a regular here for quite a while and for the past 6-7 years it’s always been consistent for both my wife and I.
My wife visits Albertacos once a week for their breakfast burritos. They are her addiction! The generous portion size for $7 of bacon, potatoes, cheese & egg make this her preferred breakfast burrito of choice in Colorado Springs. The tortilla is no slouch either and holds up well with all of the fillings.
I can easily say this is my favorite place to get tacos. Just LOOK AT THOSE TOPPINGS. Granted I ordered 4 crunchy chicken tacos with no lettuce (just chicken and cheese) and they always overflow the tacos with chicken & cheese. This is perfect and their chicken is well seasoned. Another thing that is massively undervalued is that their crunch taco shells DO NOT BREAK. Their taco shells can hold all of that food in tact and don’t break or get soggy. This makes eating tacos way more enjoyable when the shell doesn’t just “break” on the first bite.
The carne asada nachos are heavy handed on the carne asada but the cheese could have been a little bit more plentiful. However if I had a choice I would rather have more carne asada than cheese. The carne asada had great taste and texture. The tortilla chips are very good and mimics their hard corn taco shell in taste.
I did wasn’t to point out that they always give you tons of salsa (2 different types) with your food which is a nice touch.
All of our food was ordered through the drive thru and it survived the short car ride home. The line sometimes takes a little bit, but they always make your order fresh from our years of experience. We’ve NEVER had cold food and they’ve never forgotten an entree.
Overall, if you haven’t been to Albertacos, you need to fix that - especially if tacos and breakfast burritos are what you’re looking for.

Stop playing! Super good spot. Authentic to the max. What I didn't show was my Colorado Burrito, because I scarfed it down. Super friendly staff too.
I love the food they serve!! I've been missing good Mexican food and Albertacos does not disappoint. The horchata is my favorite drink here and the churros are amazing too. My favorite food item is the California burrito and their rice is great. I haven't had a chance to dine inside, but their wait time isn't too long in the drive thru. I highly recommend anyone to go and try the food, especially the horchata drink.
Just fantastic!!I hope you all never change!never had anything bad from the mutable times I have had it please don't change one thing amazeing crew just delightfull awesome portions (an I'm a man who likes to eat)I don't know who is running the show down there but you deserve. The food is delicious. Great little underrated spot for reasonably priced food. The inside of the restaurant could use some improvement, it's not very inviting or comfortable. We usually get our order to go.
Carne Asada Burrito is classic Southern California/AZ style burrito. I’ve read there isn’t enough beans and rice? For a steak burrito?? No! Colorado loves green chili, please don’t ever put potatoes, rice, green chili in my carne asada. Albertacos you are 100% doing it right, love it.
This location has remained a staple for the last 20 years. It's always awesome quality, fast, and friendly. Best carne asada fries! I also like their horchata and quesadillas! Definitely don't pass it up if you're looking for a quick and good bite!
Best burritos in town. Long as your kind, dont rush(they already fast) its worth it.
