Since Sprouts opened close by this Safeway has upped its game. The produce section is often better and fresher that Sprouts and the staff are great. It just goes to show that competition can work! Safeway, please maintain your latest efforts in this store.
This store is very close and convenient to me and I had a very wonderful experience with staff members at self checkout and the Security guard named Carlos with Blackstone security, he was super helpful when I lost my phone at the store he went out of his way to help look for it and make sure I got it back!!! I also witnessed him get called several rude remarks and threats by a homeless man when i was leaving and it was all because the homeless man was asked to leave for panhandling.On top of that he still remained in a positive mood and went about his day!.... You need more guards like him that are respectful and professional with what they do!!!!
The selection here is smaller than other Safeways in Colorado Springs. The plant/ floral section was huge although. I really was able to find everything I was looking for, I was just disappointed to not find the size I needed for one of the products I went for. Great location and entrances to the store.
The pharmacy staff are friendly, helpful, and compassionate. Their vaccine program is very good.
This is my neighborhood location. It serves it's purpose. There are bigger, more modern, and better stocked locations in the Springs.
Typical Safeway store. My only complaint is that the cashier was not friendly at all, as in he didn't say a single word to me or any of the customers in front of and behind me. Not even a thank you when he handed me my receipt.
Just moved here and was not a member. The person who checked me out welcomed me to the neighborhood and discounted my items anyway. Great service.
Always a pleasant shopping experience. Our go to place for fresh produce.

Had a last minute cigarette emergency and they were the only one's who could cash a $50 after 8 pm. It was about to close so there were very few customers so it was a great trip to the store lol. Very clean and clerk was as friendly as ever.
Went here for Cinco de mayo. Great drinks and really good tacos. The chips were a little stale but overall the food was really good.
I honestly dont shop a lot in Safeway but what keeps me from shopping there (cost) is made up for by Quality. You get what you pay for and this store had a few stand out items at the time.
Since I wrote this review I have started using Safeway more often and I must say the overall quality makes it worth the effort.
I only needed coffee and I was able to get in and out with ease.

My first time shopping at this location but my job is close so i stopped on my way home. The store was clean and well stocked with most of the shelves faced. I was a bit disappointed when the main item i went in there for was out of stock. The pharmacy ladies were no help either. Aside from that, I still left with over $300 of groceries I bought! They even had somebody walking the store handing out samples of food! The cashier was super friendly and fast. The bagger was fast also. I would've liked some help out to my car with my bags but it was the busy time of the day so I completely understand. Overall, I would definitely return to shop there again.
