My fiance and I had dinner here last night and had an amazing meal (see pictures). The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the food was delicious! Staff members were incredibly friendly and we were told that they have a lunch buffet as well. We'll definitely have to come back here with our colleagues to check that out. We had their goat biryani, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. We were too full to eat any dessert but they were kind enough to give us some rice pudding (which was also good and very refreshing).
10/10 would visit again! We went on a Saturday around 6pm and it was oddly vacant. If you are looking for a new Indian resteraunt in the area you should definately give it a try. I usually frequent Royal Taj, but this is a new contender. The atmosphere was peaceful, the staff was friendly, and the bathrooms were very clean. I went with my brother and sister in laws and my wife, we ordered: garlic Naan, onion kultcha, Shahi paneer, aloo gohbi, butter chicken, and lamb kabobs. This place could rival other local Indian restaurants for sure!
Our party of four wanted a great vegan meal, and they accommodated us with five different dishes. Delicious eggplant, spinach, vegetable korma, channa masala and daal. Each was amazing; and served up by their friendly owner and staff. We will be back every time we visit the area. We were the last to leave but there was a good crowd for a Monday night.
We ate excellent North Indian food at Indigo restaurant. It was our first time eating there and it certainly won’t be the last! They’re new in Columbia and the owners go the extra mile to make sure everyone enjoys the experience! Great selection of vegetarian, vegan, and non-vegetarian Indian food.
Everything tasted nice. Be informed that Sunday buffet is costlier than than usual $13 vs $15. The variety wasn't worth the price though. Would look around for other options with better variety. (Mango Lassi in pic is $4 more and was okay)
Indigo Indian Cuisine is superb. The food is fabulous. It is family owned and operated and the staff people are very friendly. There are abundant vegetarian and vegan options. And it is a very pleasant location. My favorites are the mango lassi (a creamy mango flavored drink), the vegetable pakoras (vegetable fritters), the vegetable samosas (pastry stuffed with vegetables and deep fried), malai kofta (chickpea croquettes in an onion and tomato sauce), and onion kulcha (bread stuffed with onions). The dal makhani (lentils cooked with spicies) and vegetable biriyani were also popular with our group. I am anxious to return to try the lunch buffet.
Great decor, great food, great flavors. Not pushy, kulcha was perfect out of the oven.
Just ordered some takeout for the family - everyone enjoyed it - great food - highly recommend!!!
I went for the lunch buffet at 1:30pm and the food was still quite good. It was fresh and hot, which is unusual for a buffet at that time of day. I found the flavors to be quite good albeit not much heat, which is to be expected since the selection has to please everybody.
Next time I will be sure to order from the menu as I am sure the food will be excellent and a fair value for the quality.
We had an absolutely fantastic time here for a birthday. The food was authentic Indian food, and the service was right on. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the politeness and sociability of the staff and owners. The Chicken Tikka Masala was spot on, and the spiced lamb was seasoned particularity well. We would go back in a heartbeat!!
