Very good service and good Mexican food. The restaurant and restroom were clean. The prices were also very reasonable. I had a chicken chimi and it was excellent.

I found myself hungry and trying to avoid driving into a rough thunderstorm one evening. Remembering that I was close to Cecilia's I decided to finally give it a shot. Cecilia's was highly recommended by someone I trust.
Upon entering, it became apparent that there was only one table of people eating. I'd initially intended to grab a takeout order. However, once I ordered and said takeout, the owner (I presumed) looked out the window at the storm and back at me with a look as if to say, "Have you lost your mind?" I agreed and told her that I'd take a table. I ordered the Fajitas Quesadillas with Steak. It was out in a flash. It quickly became obvious that this was a cut above the rest in regards to quality of ingredients, a homemade ethos, and casually thorough care in regards to the service. The cheese screamed "I am real cheese!" and slices of zucchini in the quesadilla old me that someone was putting an original spin on a classic. And it was a welcome spin, at that.
I'll definitely be back and will take several people with me as I want Cecilia's to thrive.
In fact, the "home" aspect to the restaurant was really strong, as I do believe that it was simply Cecilia herself who was serving and handling the register, etc.
Came on review from Urban Spoon. Very good overall. Clean. Generous portions . A little spare on the chips . Food tasty.
Great Food!. I've been here a few times now, everything I have tried is mucho deliciouso!
They give loads of food for your money, even lunch specials.
Cecila is always there with a warm welcome.
BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN COLUMBIA. Period. Low prices. Amazing food. Huge portions. Great staff with Excellent service. A++ all the way around.
Very good quality. Second time here in few years , must admit I need to frequent it more often.
Went for lunch got the chicken fajita with a cheese quesidilla , rice and beans. All the food was very good and fresh tasting . It appears they use a lot of fresh ingredients. The amount of food served for my dish was a plenty.
Had plenty left over for a 2nd meal later . All this for 6.95 . This is not the same stuff you get at San Jose or Monterrey, its better.... give it a try .
Great place!!. Not much to the place but the food is definitely worth it. We went a few months ago and in the summer. The restaurant does get very hot in the summer. But again the food makes up for the heat!!
Quite simply the very best Mexican you will find this side of the rio grande. The food and service are both top notch
Beyond Fantastic!!. Born and raised in Southern California. (About 100 years ago..) I was raised on REAL Mexican food. We moved to S. Carolina, Several years ago-- (Retired USMC) Our Grandson discovered CECILI'S .. CHEF Torres serves REAL REAL Mexican, The food tastes the way Mexican is suppose to taste .. We can't begin to describe how wonderful it is to walk into their restaurant and smell the delightful spices and aromas coming from the kitchen.. You are always greeted with welcome smiles..The Salsa is the best And the Chips are thin- crisp and fresh. If you haven't tried Cecilia's yet--- You are in for a real TREAT... You can't go wrong- with ANYTHING you choose on their menu.
Great food, great service. Cecelia and her husband/chef are the sweetest people and the food never disappoints!
Ole'. This is not your standard tex/mex joint. This place is very authentic and the guy in the kitchen really knows what he is doing. This is a family run place. My family is always treated like guests any time we've dined there. If you like true Mexican food it is a must.
Found Cecelia's using Urban Spoon. It had a high rating and we weren't disappointed! I loved the salsa, especially but felt the chips were heavy with grease instead of light and crispy. I had the enchiladas and taco with rice and beans while my gf had the shrimp fajitas. The portions were huge and all had excellent flavor. Our server was very attentive and even gave us a couple of complimentary churros! If in the area again we will definitely be back!
The General Rules. Don't be put off by the simple decor and strip mall location. The General, the chef of Cecilia's (and her husband), prepares some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. The numbered plates are here for the uninitiated, but there are seafood specialties and cabrito (baby goat roasted in Chablis with spices), among other dishes that set this place apart from the ol' taco stand. The chili rellenos are heaven. This is a local, family-owned establishment with great courteous service to match the food.
Really good...they make their own taco shells... What more needs to be said
The Best Mexican Food in Columbia! Everything is fresh and homemade. Real Chile Rellos & they are great. The best Mexican potatoes. Lots of veggie dishes normal Mexican don,t. Gourmet meals at night and regular menu lunch. The Best!
Little place hidden away in a strip mall. Fabulous food and a great value. This was our first time here and we plan on being regulars. Must try the fried ice-cream!

Hidden Gem. I'm from Columbia originally so I remember the years of Little Mexico where the chef here came and went, and the quality of the food came and went with him. Now he's got his own joint (across the street from the now defunct LM) and let me tell you, the food simply out of this world. Every time I come back to Cola, it's one of the first places I go. The cabrito (yes, that's goat) is perhaps one of the most amazing things I've ever consumed. Also, the fajitas are shockingly good -- and I don't even like fajitas. If you haven't been here yet, go right now!
Order the shrimp cozumel. It's the best thing on their menu.
