Without a doubt the best pulled pork barbecue and brisket I have ever eaten! No reason to hide this bbq under a sauce, the flavor is perfect without it. The sides were fantastic and the portions were generous! I cannot wait to go back! The pitmaster has perfected his craft and it shows in the flavor and quality!

This is the best darn bbq I've ever had. My one problem with BBQ sometimes is the texture but this stuff is so melt in your mouth smooth there's no weirdness, only deliciousness. We were never the type to go to events for the food, but now if we know the city limits truck will be there, we plan it for lunch. Any music, beer, or arts festing around us is just a bonus. Thank you for giving us this!

This barbeque was an unbelievable experience in perfection!!! The Brisket was the best that I have ever had outside of Texas and the pulled pork is exactly what Columbia is looking for, and has not been able to find. No sauce is needed on these items, they are perfectly smoked, tender and moist. This is the best in town, don't waste your time looking anywhere else....this is the real deal. His chicken wings will put everyone else out of business......and he makes awesome homemade beef sausage!

Superbly executed Texas-style BBQ from a mobile food truck in Columbia, SC. The snappy hot sausage link is BETTER than what you'll get at Lewis BBQ in Charleston. Pork belly was ridiculously tasty with good fat to meat ratio, pulled pork sandwich has what seems to be over a pound of meat and the appetizers were all on point. Four different home-made sauces but you really don't need 'em. Can't wait to try more of the menu. The only downside to City Limits is that folks are discovering them and they sell out every time they show up. Get in line early and often and thank me later.

Best BBQ in town! Ordered some pulled pork for a party and it was a huge hit. Robbie was very easy to communicate with. Got a trio of sauces, they were great, but the pork needed no sauce. Do yourself a flavor and search them out. Just be sure to get there early!

After the smoked wings I'm ready to post. I actually didn't want to mention this because I'm afraid of how busy they could potentially get. City limits BBQ is a must. If you haven't tried this you really are missing out. Texas brisket/beef rib, smoked Gouda Mac, pork and Texas beef link. All of the Q has been exceptional. Pit master is a really cool guy and works really hard at his craft. Best in my opinion that Columbia has to offer. Do yourself a favor.

We made the trip from Charlotte after seeing pictures from City Limits Barbeque. After seeing multiple posts about selling out, we made sure to get there early. The pictures are great, but the food is even better. City Limits deserves more than 5 stars. The quality that goes into EVERYTHING is unparalleled. This is true bbq. Hats off! We will be back soon.

I've had barbecue from all over the country, from Austin to Kansas City to Memphis to the deep south, and while I have numerous spots that I consider amazingly great and frequent often, I can honestly say that I have not tasted better brisket or beef ribs than what I've had from City Limits Q! AMAZING!

Oh boy...where to start...I was hunting down beef ribs standing in the cold for 30minutes to get them only to be disappointed when the person in front got the last of the ribs...but it forced me to try the Brisket and Pork belly bites...omg soo good. Can't wait to get the ribs. There is a fine line of wanting someone to be noticed and successful but not so much that it makes it impossible to get your favorites for yourself....lol Gouda mac n cheese was great also.

This is the best BBQ in town. City Limits combines top-quality meats with flawless execution on the smoker to deliver a fantastic product. The beef ribs are the only ones of their kind in the Midlands. They combine tender beef, a smoky finish and a peppery bark for a taste of Texas Q in South Carolina.

Got there early, was first in line! Workers were busy and focused on setup, but still very friendly. People waiting in line are super friendly, and chatty. The fun environment made the wait go by quickly (the Shiner also helped). Now the food…Looked and smelled fantastic(everything on day’s menu)! As soon as my wife dug in to some of the sliced brisket, her whole facial expression changed! I could hear her muttering “oh, oh yeah, this guy knows what he’s doing..” Sliced brisket(fatty and lean), beef ribs, pork ribs, burnt pork belly ends, beef sausages, collared greens. Everything was incredible. A+ from this Texican family.

They did a great job handling our private event for about 150 people. They had everything pre-portioned and were able to serve people very quickly as they placed an order. And the food was DELICIOUS! Quality BBQ and sides cooked with excellent flavor without being covered in sauce. Had some good sauces too though!

Made the effort to go try City Limits earlier today. As expected people were lining up well before the starting gun. Brisket was melt in your mouth tender. Sausage had that great crispy skin that let you know it was done right. Biggest surprises for me were the tater tot casserole and the Alabama white sauce. Rachael said she wants the recipe for the ttc. Lol I could sit back and drink that AW sauce straight out of the cup. Yum

Hands down the best barbecue place! The food is always AMAZING and the people are super friendly. We’ve tried most of their menu items (brisket, beef ribs, sausages, sandwiches...), all were nothing short of perfection.

Robbie catered an event for me this month and it was simply AMAZING!! My friends who are huge BBQ fans all said it was the best brisket, pulled pork and chicken they had ever had! The service was tremendous, Robbie was so easy to work with.
