This is such a great place to meet friends and hang out for hours. The coffee is great as well as their smoothies. Their scones are to die for and the atmosphere here is so welcoming.

Wife and I dropped by for a pick me up on our route home from South Carolina to Kentucky. Little did we know we'd encounter the best drinks we've ever had. Hands down the best dirty chai I've ever had. Keep doing what you're doing and your success will continue!

I'm in love with Openroad! My sister got me hooked on the hazelnut frios....the problem is I live in Canada. I almost missed my flight home because I had to stop and get 1 more hazelnut frios before I left! Thanks for the awesome coffee & service guys keep it up!!

Since I moved here and found out about Open Road a little over 2 years ago, I have been a huge fan! I love finding my small space in an inviting coffee shop to create community and my work space. Open Road does a wonderful job at that! Today (April, 6 2016) was no different, but what I really loved today was walking into a bustling morning at Open Road, the line being out the door (which always makes me happy because it means other people love it as much as I do, so the wait is totally worth it) and the employees serving their customers in an amazing manner considering the work ahead of them. The part that stuck out for me this morning was that in between all that hustle, one of the gentleman making the drinks took the time to tell the nice young lady behind the counter what a great job she was doing, and she did the same. It was the epitome of having a workplace that completely respects their employees and the work they do, and working as a family. A team is one thing, but this felt like family. I was so happy to support a workplace such as this, and will wait many more times in line just to support that positive reinforcement and teamwork. What a great place to work and example of how workplaces can be places to love to come to rather than viewing it as an income to come to. I like to think of this as coming to FUN, not coming to work. Hats off to you all in all aspects of your business. I give you a MILLION STARS!!!

Openroad Coffee Roaster Cafe is treasure. The coffee is organic and roasted right in house. The sandwiches were really good with a good selection that had gluten free and dairy free choices. The pastries were amazingly delicious too. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. We received exceptional service. We got to meet the owner Stan and had a good conversation with him. The cafe is right off I-26. ☕️ ☕️☕️❤️❤️😁🇺🇸❤️❤️☕️☕️☕️☕️

Beautiful space, open and airy, plenty of seating and work spaces. They also have a long table in the back that can seat 8 and a naturally well lit cozy leather armchair area that can seat 4. The coffee was good, roasted in house it seems. Baked goods also appear to be made on site. The espresso brownie (gluten free) was delicious and cakey while also fudgey. Highly recommend getting one! The blueberry scone was flaky and delicious as well. The latte was better than the iced coffee. But both were done well. Stop in!

The vibe that all coffee shops should have. Fun atmosphere. Perfect lighting. Great coffee. Smiling faces. Areas to chat with friends. Tables outside in the shade. When we come from Charleston we always stop for coffee here.

A perfect experience! Great service, very friendly and knowledgeable staff quick to answer questions and advise on their favorites. The coffee - premium blends and roasted onsite to perfection. This visit we had lavender lattes and picked up two bags of freshly roasted beans to be able to brew the awesome blends at home. The scones - don’t stop in for coffee without having one ( or two) of their freshly baked scones. We ordered three and split them between the two of us. We had the cherry lemon, triple berry and the tomato basil with cheddar. All three were filled with flavor and melted in your mouth. We are visiting Lake Lure for the weekend and drove over to experience Openroad for our morning coffee time. It was well worth the drive over and definitely a place we will visit again.

Nice, quiet, laid back coffee shop with great music playing. Stopped in on our way to dinner after a day out because we had a bit of time to spare before our reservation. Really good fresh roasted coffees and loose leaf teas. It was a cold day so the hit beverages were especially nice. Definitely stop in for coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

Great local coffee shop that's easy to overlook if you're not paying attention. Very friendly staff and excellent WiFi for a casual business meeting or a quick bite. Very good coffee...I didn't try any food but it all looked great!

First time visiting but most definitely will not be my last! I ordered a turkey avocado sandwich on cranberry bread(?) and a beige latte!! Both were absolutely amazing! I loved the latte but that sandwich was the best sandwich I have had in a very long time!!

This coffee shop is one of our favorites. My wife and I go there as often as we can from Inman. Tonight she had a caramel latte and I had a Chai latte, and both were so good, and hot! The staff are always friendly and helpful, the inside is really comfy, and the drive thru is fantastic. We liked their message on the drive thru menu that gave credit to the Creator as well! Highly recommend!!
