First of all. They updated menu periodically so don’t expect the same dish if you see this two years later.
I love the free bread with the oil. I guess there is tomato in the bread oil so it taste little sour, which perfect match the sourdough bread. The bread is Chucky outside and soft inside, I really love that.
Rock Shrimp Ravioli is ok. Don’t know why some of the mushroom are sour, like expired.
White Clam Pizza is thin and chunky, but blend compared to other dishes
Veal Chop is huge and soft. I love the broccoli and potato at the side!
This a very nice restaurant with quiet vibe on that street. $70/person enjoying Italian food I think it’s an okay deal.
The lady who served us name Ryan(I think this is the name) She is very nice, when we ask if there any shops around us ( since I’m traveling) and she gave us lots of options.
Was here for a small outing with 4 people total. We had to reserve ahead of time, then everything was great! The service and our waiter was very kind.
The good was great for everyone with me, but I personally didn't enjoy my order.
I think this is a really good place for a first date or a nice "fancier" dinner with a group. Definitely suggest getting a reservation ahead of time.
Nice and adequate meal with a real elegant atmosphere. The music was really nice, even Shazamed a couple songs. Service with Mark was really attentive and heartwarming. The owner introduced himself and seated my wife and I, welcoming us into Columbus as newcomers. The food was for most part really good aside some flaws. The complimentary bread was paired with a subtle sun dried tomato olive oil that was so good. We ordered quite a bit: Stuffed Risotto Fritters, Leek Soup (cold, special menu), Filet, Rock Shrimp Triangoli, Ricotta Cannoli and Cappuccino for dessert. Both appetizers were excellent, first time having cold soup and it was very addictive. The Fritters were delicious, although really filling. We ordered the Filet at medium, but it was very raw not even rare, so was only able to eat the seared outsides. The mashed potatoes were also undercooked, the chunks were pretty hard to chew. The lemon flavor was really strange and didn't work well IMO. The asparagus was great though. The Rock Shrimp was all delicious minus the mushrooms. I usually love mushrooms and the fungi fam, but the oyster mushrooms were so inedible, incredibly bitter and overly chewy. The Cannoli and Cappuccino was a perfect way to end the meal. Really good portion and refreshing flavors in the ricotta with that orange flavored accent. Overall nice experience, will return for some sort of future celebration!
I firstly got there on Tuesday during happy hour during Covid time! The items on happy hour were cheap and great coming with various appetizers.
Came back during happy hour recently. Mostly everything but pasta had discount. Recommend the fig pizza with abundant figs and cream, perfectly sweet.
Came here for the first time for our anniversary and it was the cutest thing ever. The vibes were immaculate and the servers were so sweet 💗 the food was amazing and they even brought out a dish for our anniversary 🥹
The Calamari was so freaking delicious and the sauce on top made it better. Stuffed fried risotto was crazy good. My hangar steak was chewy but I still want to go back and try more main dishes. Bread pudding was nice to finish.
Everything from start to finish was great. Best calamari ever. Bread and dip was delicious. Tried several appetizers and our entrees were delicious too. Rack of lamb and smoked chicken ravioli. Will definitely be back to try more dishes. Staff was great and welcoming. Definitely make a reservation.
Such an amazing experience. We made reservations for a Friday night to celebrate my birthday. I have a peanut allergy and I was able to mention that in the reservation and they confirmed that with me when I arrived and were very aware of the allergy all night which was greatly appreciated. We started with the charcuterie board and it was absolutely fantastic, the complimentary bread and oil also paired well with it. I ordered a mushroom pizza and my husband ordered a sausage with pasta dish (not sure of the names of either). Both dishes were SO good!!! I believe our waiter’s name was Mark and he was courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful with all of our questions. Then they brought out a mousse as a dessert for my birthday! The atmosphere was excellent and all around it was a terrific experience. I read dozens of reviews for restaurants in Columbus before deciding on this one and I am so glad I did! If you are in Columbus please go to this restaurant! Truly an amazing meal.
We came here in a Saturday evening with reservations that were 100% necessary as the restaurant filled up in minutes. Our waitress, Angela was very helpful with the menu and friendly. The bread and sauce were amazing to start. We shared the Risotto Fritters which were great as well. I ordered the Tortelli and my wife got the Goat Cheese Ravioli both of which were amazing in their own, different ways. They also gave us a mousse for our anniversary! So nice, little wait time, and the best food I have had in a long time. Absolutely a new favorite!
We had a birthday dinner at Z Cucina di Spirito. The staff was friendly and attentive. We even got to speak to the chef for a bit. The food was wonderful and priced appropriately. We went very pleased with all of our dishes.
We had Taylor, he was great! We had a couple starters, drinks, and dinner. All was very tasty! The sundried tomato dip for the bread was really good and different from any restaurant I've been to. Definitely recommend.
Came here to celebrate my dad's birthday. Rick welcomed us into his restaurant with open arms and really took care of us! Mark was our server and helped us figure out what to order. We ordered the wild mushroom pizza as a starter. For the entrees, we ordered the spaghetti and clams, the butcher's steak, the rock shrimp triangoli, and the mushroom risotto. Everything was absolutely amazing and would order again. They even brought out chocolate mousse on a pizzele for my dad! Everything was just so nice. Can't wait to come back!
We liked the ambience and service at Z Cucina. The bruschetta is delicious along with the fig jam, but the cheese is a little salty. For our entree, we had the cauliflower gnocchi with squash. Although it tasted good, it could have been better with a little more flavor inside the gnocchi. Overall, it's a good restaurant for your special days.
My husband brought me here for the first time for our anniversary. The food was fabulous, the service was quick and personable. I did not like that parking is absolutely atrocious to find as they do not have any parking and all of the lots around it get filled up quickly, but the experience is good enough not to retract any stars. Make a reservation and show up early to find parking and be on time. ☺
Wonderful service and staff. The food is really great. I tried something from the temporary menu. The chef who designed it is obviously skilled, although there were a few parts to the dish that I did not like. Mainly, I thought the smoked shrimp tasted odd and wasn't a great method to cook it. The flavoring it added to the risotto was incredible, but the smokey flavor on the shrimp itself tasted clashing with its natural flavor. The tomato salsa on this dish was absolutely perfect and the fish was light and crispy - delicious! It was really neat to try something that was creative and fun, and I would definitely come back to see what else the restaurant has to offer.
Happy hour is great here. The prices are quite reasonable for the Columbus area, drinks were good and the serving size of appetizers offered at the bar from the appetizer menu exceeded expectations. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Definitely worthy of a return visit.
Prompt service, friendly staff, romantic candlelit atmosphere… seriously, I felt like I was about to have a Lady and the Tramp moment.
Calamari was tasty and both pasta entrees were great. Generous pours on the wine. This feels like a nice Italian restaurant where you can really relax and enjoy the atmosphere - not to mention the delicious smells from the kitchen.
I go here for the best bar service and tasty food. Kevin always tells me what is new and what freshest dishes taste. Let me tell you, the tomatoe dip for the bread is to die for! Kevin's cocktails are worth the wait while he makes magic in a cocktail glass.
Had to see what the number 1 restaurant in Columbus, Ohio was all about. Italian theme with a wonderful evening to enjoy dinner on the patio. I loved the Lasagna and the cheesecake was perfect. Loved the marshmallow on top along with salted caramel and raspberries. Look for Glory as she is such a nice person and made the visit a very enjoyable experience.
