What a great place to visit for an authentic pastrami sandwich 🥪 and the most delicious pickled cucumbers 🥒We also had to try their coleslaw and it was so yummy 😋 Bread is fresh and tasty! And the employees are friendly and welcoming! Made us feel very cozy and warm with all the care and hospitality! This place is a great, historic, and unique opportunity to experience something that’s not so common is time of chain franchises and big companies. Authenticity. And locals love it!

Just went to Katzinger’s for the first time, for an early lunch. As someone who went to college in NYC and has experienced the native delicatessen experience, all I can say is BRAVO. Everything was delicious, from the complimentary garlic pickle (self-served from a barrel, no less) to the massive sandwiches that my husband and I devoured. I got the #74 - Wross Left His Mark and my husband got the # 5 - Mimi’s Melody. I would highly recommend both of these delights. The bagel and bread our sandwiches were served on were out of this world (and so was the tuna salad!). Our new goal is to try every sandwich on the menu - with our stomachs and determination and joy, I’m certain we will be able to. The place itself is honestly just adorable. I loved all the decor and, of course, the little delicatessen-style market area where you can purchase packaged items and homemade recipes by the pound. I was especially tickled to see both blintzes and latkes in the case. We’ll likely be back next week. Thank you, Katzinger’s, for making me cry tears of joy and nostalgia for NYC.

Tried the classic reuben sandwich and it was tasty. The bread and sauce on the sandwich is very good. Also, tried the coleslaw, which was good. This place has been around for awhile and seems they know what they are doing. Service was very fast and friendly.

This was my first visit to Katzinger's Delicatessen, and it definitely won't be my last. The restaurant itself was a very nice place, if a bit small for how well known it is. We ordered a sandwich for each of us and a side of the potato salad. We were able to find a table while we waited, then after a short wait, got our food and went to eat at one of the local parks in the German Village. I got the Jack Does the Funky Chicken sandwich. The flavor was excellent, and I really liked the Honeycup Mustard they put on the sandwich. It did end up being a very messy sandwich, so make sure you grab plenty of napkins before digging into this one. The chicken was grilled perfectly and the toppings were fresh. I was very happy with the sandwich, and like I said, we will definitely be coming back for more.

Definitely a good stop. The line wasn't bad for 2:15 on a Saturfay afternoon. We had to wait about a half hour and then about 10 minutes for our food to come out. We ordered the 'bustling birdwich' which is #16 I believe. We got the deli size (bigger option), a pound of fruit salad, and a drink. It came to a little over $30. Not bad for two people. The free pickles are an added bonus too!

Having eaten at many Jewish style delis in my life, this is a solid choice for sure. The rye bread takes a backseat to no one, its fantastic. The corned beef is really good, but feel the pastrami is fairly pedestrian. Not bad, but not great, either. Overall though, I will continue to visit this place and enjoy the meals I have there.

Really cute place with barrels of pickles (free with purchase). Had a tuna melt which was yummy and headed over to Schiller park for a picnic. Will definitely be back! Would be a great place to make a gourmet charcuterie board.

Found this Deli in Columbus (felt like a NY deli). The Reuben was overloaded just the way I like it. Don’t miss out out on the free pickle barrels. Will visit again if in the area. Next time will have to try the Pastrami sandwich

New York kosher style deli in German town in Columbus. Deli done right! Something on the menu for everyone and every taste. Portions are heavy, prices are reasonable and staff are warm and friendly. Only complaint is the matzah ball soup was cold. Barrels of free pickles ? Amazing!

Wow what a find!!! A family friend recommended the deli to us to visit during our recentr business trip to Columbus. This is hands down a fantastic place to grab a bite!!! The menu is huge!!! The breads meats and cheese are all top notch. We enjoyed the pastrami corned beef and desserts. The key lime pie maybe the best I have ever had!!! Please give this eatery a visit. Your stomach will thank you for it later!!!
