First visit last night and the food was OMG!!! Oysters Rockefeller, Shrimp cocktail, Scallops and Filet (we shared to experience it all). The only negative about last night was when the manager on duty walked past us not once but THREE times stopping and talking to all the tables around us but never bothered to ask us. I have my suspicions about the entire situation but it has nothing to do with the food or with the service from our waiter we received. I will be back, let’s hope e he decides to have better manners the next time!

The Filet Mignon 10 oz was amazing. Never had a steak for tender & soooooo delicious. The red velvet cake is huge & very good. Moe our server knew everything & made some great suggestions. Its expensive so expect to be 100.00 or better. We were there on our anniversary. Make reservations!

I just took my wife there for our 30th Anniversary. The dining experience could not have been better. The service was outstanding and the little extra touches they did for our visit was very nice. Our visit will long be remembered.

I had the prime ribeye steak, with sweet potato mash and asparagus! Absolutely divine! Paired with my favorite red wine: Meiomi Pinot Noir! I loved it, and you will too!

Pretty solid place. Expensive for what it is though. They don't have any dry aged(at least they don't specify it) or waygu. It's just prime options that are practically as expensive as american waygu. I had the 22oz ribeye maxwell style which is basically oscar style but with lobster. They put maybe a tablespoon of bearnaise sauce on my steak which was disappointing. I asked if the brussel sprouts were crispy and they mentioned they were, but take a look at my picture of them. They weren't crispy at all. In fact cooked like this is the reason why brussel spouts catch a bad wrap, they sucked. The lobster mac n cheese was really good. My wife had the surf and turf and it came with a tiny little tail like you'd buy at the grocery store. The soups were amazing, the french onion had so much flavor. The lobster bisque was really good as well, but it was barely luke warm. I had the millionaire spiked coffee which was really good and the stick todde cake or something, which wasn't even sticky at all. It just had some liquidy sauce on top. Service was pretty dang good except for the drink refills. One of our co-workers wives put her old serving skills to work while she refilled everyone's water. Spent over 3k only to have a couple servers and us having to have one of our guests fill everyone's water. Thanks

I went for Christmas because I did not want to Cook The service was wonderful so I left a tip for my service kind helpful The atmosphere was calm and relaxing but the My Daughter steak was off we asked for well done But it was pink inside went Back twice I understand It was holiday as well things Don’t always go your Way but It was when Manager was more concerned about the 2 steaks that had go back like it was Our Faught I listened As she spoke she would take both off the receipt It was Only one steak that we gave another chance Take some Responsibility I’m not saying All dining Are Right But I had no energy to complain So I remembered I could write a review and That would take care of things with out a confrontation On a positive note maybe just bad day But my Daughter an actual cook and knows But overall I will Fifth place this in coming Back

Went for a team holiday dinner on a Tuesday night. There were 7 in our party, and although the place was pretty empty, they wouldn't sit us until more than half showed up. Not a big deal. Most of the group had the prix fixe with the filet mignon . I ordered the French onion soup, sea bass, mac and cheese and the Crème brûlée. From the table, I heard the filet mignon was overcooked for 3 of the 5 of them. My seabass was also a little overcooked but not bad. Not the best seabass I've had. French onion soup was okay. The Mac and cheese was really good, and so was the Crème brûlée. Service also took a really long time. We sat down at 5:15pm and didn't get desert until 8pm. All in all, not a bad experience but could have been better for the price

As always I’ve received exquisite service from the entire staff at mitchells steakhouse(3rd and gay st). The food was phenomenal to say the absolute least however I was celebrating my wife’s birthday and I wanted her special day to be perfect. Our server Nikki was nothing short of that. She went above and beyond for our experience. I can’t express enough the quality of a place that offers a calming inviting welcome partnered with service you have to dig to deep to find flaws in. I will be returning and I look forward to it. Thanks again Mitchell’s.

I did return to this location on June 3, 2023 because of the food and service on my last visit. This visit wasn't even close. After being seated based on my reservations, I didn't even get water until 15 minutes. The reason was they didn't know I was here. Really? Did order drinks before ordering my meal, and it didn't arrive until I asked after 15 minutes after ordering. Then I decided to order, the meal. I did ask for the manager and he did compensate my first order of drinks. Throughout the night, I had to ask to refill the water. When the food was finally brought out, it was a different server and I let them know I wanted another drink. This is rather unusual for a Mitchell's Steakhouse. Made me thing after spending all this money for the great experience, it was absolutely terrible. The food of course was amazing, but the service was terrible. In my opinion, my comp should have been greater. BTW: When I got there, it really wasn't that busy. Even folks that arrived after I got there, was served their food and their service appeared to be head and shoulders above to what I experience this night. Put a damper on the evening. Just disappointed this time. Hopefully, I will be reached out to so it can be made right.

I tried this restaurant because it’s only found in Ohio. The flavor of the food was average. Had to send the crab cake back. The drinks were good. Not laundry’s best restaurant. The Apple pie is not what you think. See images.

Upscale spot that could readily be a 5 for others. Steaks varied in quality within our group (some were great). Seafood toppings and appetizers were fresh and richly flavored. Sides were underwhelming, as were the $15+ mixed drinks. Neat art deco building, and a peacefully spread-out, quiet dining room.

My family and I were in town over the Thanksgiving holiday, we decided to go with Mitchell’s Steak house that was conveniently located across the street from our hotel. I am so pleased with our decision, from the time we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff, our server Nicole was WONDERFUL she took care of everything we needed. So prompt, food was great, also enjoyed great conversation with Nicole and some of the locals. They definitely get 5 stars from my family, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment. THANKSGIVING 2023!

Very nice restaurant $10 valet on a Thursday. Hardly anyone there everyone was very polite and considerate. Expect to pay around $100 per person. I got the filet mignon chopped salad mash potatoes and butter cake and long island ice tea. Portions are decent and I had leftovers. All came out quickly and tasted very good, especially the salad and long island. Medium ordered steak was rare in the middle but seasoned very well.

Me and my wife had a date night here, it was our first time and the experience was amazing. Rhianna was our waitress and was the most amazing person we have ever met. We will be returning very soon and will request the same waitress

Wonderful food in a very beautiful building. Our service was top notch and the meal was excellent. It's a little more on the pricey side as all items are ordered a la carte.

The filet mignon and Onion soup were top notch! Service was excellent and very personable. We noted we were on a date and they sprinkled hearts on the table. What a nice and unexpected touch! An extensive wine menu that covers Italians French, American and all of the classics and exclusives. Expect to pay "steakhouse prices" for a glass but know it is a good quality and perfect for a special occasion. We both ordered the Prix Fixe option and were very satisfied with the quality, portion and price. With the exception of the desserts everything was perfect. Filets were tender and I added the bone marrow butter. It was well flavored but would likely go with another option as the marrow flavor was overpowered by the butter. Steakhouse corn side was very sweet and one is plenty to share. The corn did not need the cream as it seemed more soupy and did not add anything to the dish. The Butter Cake and Crème Brule desserts were a let down so it would be a pass for next time. The cake was dry and seemed more like a bunt cake than a traditional Butter Cake. The Crème Brule was good consistency but the overall flavor seemed pale. Overall still deserving of a 4 star review and we would go again!
