My girlfriend found this place while I was driving. We tried the more cowbell sandwiches. My girlfriend got the brisket and I got the turkey. We split it. She enjoyed the mustard bbq sauce and I loved the Carolina sauce. Food was absolutely amazing and the service was fast. The restaurant looks great. Clean bathrooms as well.
I recently visited this City BBQ and was pleased with the service I received from the staff. City BBQ is always delicious specifically their beef brisket is sinfully savory. I ordered their beef brisket combo on Texas Toast, greens, and mashed potatoes. Clean location. Nice size covered outdoor patio. Parking spaces out front walking distance from the restaurant. Decent prices.

My husband shared this was some of the best BBQ he's had here in Ohio. They were very kind and generous, which I appreciated. Brisket was especially tasty!
Great BBQ in a quick fashion. The food was good. The service was nice and quick. The atmosphere was appropriate and the restaurant was clean. I enjoyed each of the sauces, but enjoyed some sauces more than others. It's a nice place to eat for smoked BBQ style meat and traditional American side dishes. It was a good portion of food for the price as well.
Good, quick barbecue. Seriously! I was surprised by how quick they were, let alone how good the food was. Brisket was 👨‍🍳👌perfect. Several different kinds of sauces. Lots of sides! Macaroni was good, and the hush puppies, too. We had a large party and the staff accepted us with aplomb. Highly recommend.
If you are looking for bbq look no further than City, excellent choice for fast casual dining. I tried the pulled pork, sausage and cornbread. Cornbread was a tad dry but overall satisfying meal.
My sister was visiting from California, she requested that we get "the great barbeque that we had the last time she was here". City Barbeque never disappoints. I had the "More Cowbell" and she had ribs. Great food at a good price. Also the potato salad was delicious.

So this is one of the newer locations for this Ohio chain a barbecue shops.
We pulled in here on a Monday afternoon for a late lunch early dinner and it was an oasis of smoky wonderfulness.
As you can tell from the pictures it is immaculately clean and a newer shop and the only drawback is it is a bit pricey.
But in the scheme of today’s inflationary prices it was well worth the lunchtime adventure.
The choices were mildly limited but the atmosphere was very nice and the food was wonderful and memorable definitely recommend this place
Our first time at City Barbecue, it was a great experience! It smelled amazing when we walked in and we was greeted with a friendly smile!! Workers were polite and very helpful, even though they were busy!
Our food was absolutely delicious! Finally some good sweet tea and we didn’t even have to travel South out of Ohio to get it lol!
It was delicious, good stuff!
We’re looking forward to our next visit.
Decided to try out a different City BBQ than my normal one. This one is located in a small strip off Gemini Place. It is a little smaller than a normal one but has new decor. Same ordering process. I got the brisket, baked beans, potato salad and corn pudding. The brisket was just a little dry but still had a great bark on it. Got the brush fire BBQ sauce which has a little kick to it. The baked beans have a great sauce with them. The corn pudding is some of the best around, just a little dry today. Love the potato salad which taste super fresh and is one of the few in town made with mayonnaise instead of mustard. Nice crunchy celery and red potatoes. Yummy. Service is super quick.
This is the place for great barbecue and comfort foods. The manager is Fabulous. I am a regular there as they know how to keep you coming back for more again and again.
Great spot. Not sure who copied who, but basically a non-military version of Mission BBQ. Food was great and fast, good flow, clean and airy atmosphere. Sauces were good. Pricing and portions were great for a work lunch.
Carolina Goldmine, potato salad and regular lemonade, $15.48. Very good but portions may leave you still hungry.
First time visit. I ordered the Judge’s Sampler which is enough for 2! It comes with 1/4 chicken and 1/2 slab of ribs, plus pulled pork, beef brisket, 2 sides (I picked Mac and Cheese and Potato Salad), 2 cornbreads, and Texas toast. They also have a BBQ sauce bar where you can choose from a variety of different sauces.
Meat: Pulled Pork, Brisket and Chicken, tasted great. Ribs are average, nothing special.
Potato Salad: Good stuff!
Mac & Cheese: needs to be cheesier. The Mac is there, but the cheese is not. At least the taste fell flat. I wouldn’t order this again.
Texas Toast: Good stuff!
Corn Bread: This is LEGIT good corn bread! I’d come here just to get the corn bread! Don’t miss out!
All in all, with the friendly helpful staff that makes you feel like you’re at home... I’d come back for sure!
