We loved everything about this place! Servers were very welcoming and polite. They treated us very well. The place is nice and clean. Typical tavern style but it’s very comfy. Food was definitely the best thing: Fried pickles, great; chicken tenders, lovely; fries, very well cooked; Bacon cheeseburger, amazing and delicious. We were definitely surprised with the high quality. They also have drily meals that I am curious to taste. Also, the price was honest and not expensive. We loved this place and we will definitely go back!

Matt and Tony’s kitchen is absolutely delicious! I ordered their homemade tots and the BBQ chicken salad. The homemade tots are a must have, they are clearly homemade with shredded potatoes on the inside. And the BBQ chicken salad was not only insanely good with a little bite of heat to it, but HUGE. For what you are getting for your money, this place is an amazing deal for a date night, dinner night and so on. The menu had a variety of items that all looked amazing and the vibe was upscale/cute tavern ish. I will be coming back here! (P.S. here is a picture of my salad in a literal mixing bowl)

My husband and I went on date night before going to a hockey game. We got there pretty early for supper, so beat the crowds. The food was great! I highly recommend the handmade tots. They're huge and tasty. The sauce that came with was good, but I actually preferred them plain. The mac and cheese was ok. Nothing terrible, but not what I was expecting based on the other food. The steak and fries were quite good. And my husband enjoyed his burger. The dessert was the beat part. When they say giant chocolate cake, they aren't kidding. This could easily be split by 4 people. It looks too rich to eat, but it was actually a much more delicate chocolate flavor than I was expecting. Moist and so good! We will absolutely be back.

Pretty standard selection of American food. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, chicken, etc. Everything was really fresh, though, and the portions were big, especially the salad. They have daily specials as well. More home-dinner style dishes like spaghetti and meatballs. There is also a bar, but I can't speak to the selection.

I had the beef stroganoff and it was so flavorful. Hands down the best I've ever had home or out to eat. Terrific beer menu as well, and service was more than pleasant. We agreed that we need to keep Matt and Tony's in our lineup for go-to dining. Hidden gem in some regards. Great job to all!!

We love this place! The service was excellent and the food is awesome. Try the mozzarella sticks and the chorizo queso dip, you won’t be disappointed. I also love the Pimento Burger and my wife really enjoyed the fish and chips. Overall great place to grab some food in downtown.

Definitely a hidden gem! Salads are gigantic & delicious! Kids split the chicken tender appetizer & it worked out perfect. Doesn't get much better than hand-breaded chicken tenders! Beer selection was all local & incredible! Server was very personable & friendly. Can't recommend this place more! Great experience

We had a large party and we’re seated immediately. We viewed the contactless menu, ordered and our food came out fast. Our waiter was very attentive on refills and such and was very friendly. I ordered the double pork chop dinner which was great. It came with mashed potatoes but no sauce or gravy which it needed but still very good. I’d recommend based on service, food and music selection! Parking could be better but what else do you expect for down town.

The food looked just like the pictures on the menu. The food... delicious! The waiter made us feel like we were at a Steakhouse paying $100 a plate. We came 2hr away for an appointment in Columbus and stopped in and was pleasantly surprised to find this place. It's worth the 2hr trip just to eat here.

Great little bar and kitchen, daily food specials and local beer. I enjoyed the pretzel bites and sharp cheddar.

This place is the best because of the GM they currently have. The service is phenomenal. They really care. They’re dope people and the food reflects that. I go in sometimes after work, just to have a beer or two and grab a salad to go…but the service here makes me wanna stay. I love them, you should love them too. Go give them your money. I mean… look how big this piece of cake is man….go now.

The mozzarella sticks are made from scratch and they're amazing! They are huge! Plus so crispy, they barely fell apart and the cheese was stringy and pull apart throughout the entire stick. Chicken parm was delightful! Highly recommend! 10/10

Randomly searching for restaurants near me and ran across this gem. The ambiance when you walk in is eye catching. Plenty of greenery (I ❤️ plants) and decorated beautifully for the season. Service was prompt. Started with the spinach dip appetizer. Dip was delicious and salsa was fresh. Ordered the special Blackened Grouper which was served with rice and veggies. Mom ordered the chicken parmesan. I was pleasantly surprised by how favorable the rice was in addition to great seasoning of the grouper. Chicken for the parmesan was crispy yet still moist. Sauce had a delightful flavor. Our server Wade was great as he took time to explain entrees and portion size. Very good attention to detail. All and all it definitely a place I would revisit and recommend. Sits off that beaten path so that was a nice twist as well. Less traffic.

we gotta talk about these cheese sticks y'all. okay so first of all, this is another one of those hidden gems in columbus that make you wonder how we aren't in the discussion for Best Food In the Country. at the very least, we have some of the best variety. and this place is part of that -- from standard bar fare to an entire half chicken cooked peruvian style, this menu's got a lot to offer. but these cheese sticks are the centerpiece of this menu. my friends, these are not just pulled out of a GFS box. these are hand breaded with panko and herbs, deep fried, and as big as something i can't describe on Google Maps. and they are BEAUTIFUL. paired with their marinara sauce, it's a sweet and savory experience that makes other appetizers cry in shame. their cheese sticks aren't just the best in the city, they could be among the best in the entire COUNTRY. absolutely 5 stars, and worth every penny of their very competitive prices. imma get that half chicken next time i'm here, and there absolutely WILL be a next time. put columbus on the Best Food map, for real.

Great little place. Nice pub atmosphere inside, and they have the ability to raise the front and make it open air during nice weather. Food was top-notch, and there was plenty to fill you up. Even the Pretzel Buckeye appetizer came all heaped up. Staff was friendly and helpful and kept our glasses full. Almost forgot. The hamburger buns are made there and the cheese sauce for the pretzels was perfect.

I ordered the pimento cheeseburger. It was good, the bun was fluffy and tasty. The burger itself was pretty standard. Fries were tasty. Where this place really shines is in its Cobb salad, they do a wonderful job of presentation and creating a wonderful meal. The mozzarella sticks were big and tasty with the marinara sauce. Macaroni and cheese was good and cheesy as well. Overall, for bar food it's tasty and I will be going back. Their beer selection was pretty big with a lot of local taps. The service was pretty standard.
