I had been wanting to try one of the famed cinnamon rolls for awhile and was finally able to but left a bit disappointed. In my opinion, they need a bit more icing or to be more soft. Normally I actually prefer cinnamon rolls to have a strong cinnamon flavor without a lot of icing, but this cinnamon roll was just way too dense without icing. The very inner portion of the roll was fairly soft and fluffy but the rest was too dry. If there had been more icing or some sort of cream component, it could have made up for the dryness. The roll was pretty huge (as it should be for $4), and could have easily been split between two people because it was a lot of sweetness for me to take down in one sitting.
I visited Columbus and a friend referred me to go to the North Market . The Omega Artisan Bakery was awesome I love the Omega Cakes they are heavenly.
After reading in Food Network magazine that this is the best Breakfest in Ohio, I had to try it out. Agreed! This is a killer breakfast!
DELICIOUS!. From the artisan breads to the cinnamon rolls to the yummy bakery delights this North Market venue certainly hits the mark! Omega has never disappointed us and is the first stop when we shop the Market. Would highly recommend
it - just try the cake balls!
The cinnamon rolls are amazing - the best in Columbus.
Walked over to North Market this morning to grab a breakfast pastry and discovered Omega's cinnamon roll. It was buttery, delicious and still warm, even after walking it back home; would highly recommend.
Addendum after reading other reviews: While I can't speak to all of Omega's staff, the employee who waited on me was incredibly kind and helpful. She even made sure to warn me to be careful of the middle of the cinnamon roll, as they were fresh out of the oven.
As a new resident of Columbus, I was struggling to find a bakery that offered quality artisan breads. But then I discovered Omega Artisan Bakery, and I have to say, it did not disappoint.
The star of the bakery is undoubtedly the rosemary focaccia, which is unlike anything else I have tried in Columbus so far. It is simply amazing, and I highly recommend giving it a try. Additionally, the bakery offers a great selection of artisan breads, all of which are baked to perfection.
Overall, I am so glad I found Omega Artisan Bakery. It is a true gem for anyone looking for quality artisan breads in Columbus. Don't miss the rosemary focaccia - it is worth the trip alone!
Wanted a lemon bar, stayed at the AC hotel across the corner so left at lunch and decided to come back after checkout to get one and some other food to take and try. They were out :( upon return. If you want something, get it when you see it. When we get back there hopefully they are still around and can get one if they have them. Was so bummed that my wife ended up making me a batch with lemon oreos as crust when we got back to Cincinnati that night. Has to be good if they sell out that quick.
Bangin' blueberry pecan muffin. The mixed berry scone was a bit more drop biscuit than scone but tasty. Croissants would make a good sandwich but a bit solid on their own. That said, I enjoyed it all and will be back.
The focaccia. The scones. The rolls. Anything you pick up from Omega is going to be delicious. If they have Kouign Amann available you absolutely have to buy one...or ten.
Always eat amazingly delicious foods here. Today was a deliciously tart lemon croissant and a scrumptious ham and cheese croissant
Get the Kouign Amann. 100%. Hands down. No questions asked. Get it. The BEST baked good I've EVER had.

Great shop! Excellent employees and the food is to die for. Definitely try the rosemary focaccia, cinnamon rolls and pepperoni rolls! Priced reasonably and made daily!! Stop by while your at the North Market!!
I'm not from around town, so I've only stopped by here a few times. The focaccia is delicious. The sourdough was good, but wasn't very sour. I honestly wasn't sure that what I was given WAS sourdough, but the lady over the counter assured me it was. But the pastries are amazing. Unfortunately, I also have to say something about their customer service. The last reviewer before me was 100% correct. Some of the people who work here do have an attitude, but I really don't think they are being purposefully rude. It's just their personality. This isn't the sort of experience you get from other local business in area, that's for sure. But they sure do make the best pastries. And my family absolutely loves their brownies. It's why I keep coming back whenever I am in town.
Wonderful bakery. The last time I got the focaccia and found it a bit salty but every other time I have had anything from this bakery it has been excellent!
I have shopped here for years. Great breads and great sweets. I love the holiday specials that they create. The pepperoni rolls are huge and incredible. I really like that they have a baguette cooked extra well done, the crust on it is exceptional!
Omega Artisan Bakery. The Best Bread in Columbus in my opinion. Maybe even Ohio. The staff is usually delightful and desserts are amazing. The chocolate bomb is 💣. Try their flavored butters. They usually have some small dinner rolls for cheap. Great reason to stop at the North Market
I have recently discovered Omega Artisan Baking and have purchased a few different bread loafs from this place. They also carry yummy looking pastries, which I haven’t tried yet. But so far love their bread. They are usually fresh and delicious.
I don’t know what’s the big fuss about the staff. It’s true that they won’t go above and beyond to help you and be super nice to you, but they get the job they’re supposed to do done.
