Very friendly & welcoming staff. Varied & delicious vegetarian & non-veg appetizers & entrees. We ordered primarily vegetarian, but also some non-veg. Ten levels of spice are offered. Another nice feature is complimentary chai & dessert with dinner. We have recommended Layla’s Kitchen to others. We’ll definitely return. Highly recommended.
My first time coming in…I’m wanting to expand my taste palette and I live 2 minutes away. I never order online so I decided to come in and order.
Let me say this…the owner who is also the server…she was absolutely amazing. The hospitality they gave was extraordinary welcoming. This will definitely becoming a weekly visit as this food is made authentic and I’m very big on energy and she just radiates care and love and that’s what you want behind anyone in the world preparing food for you.
She even gave me a sample of a tea and also a samosa and it was trying amazing.
I’ll definitely be doing cash too because that appreciation shows so much more. Highly recommend trying and just be optimistic!
Excellent food and service. Our kids hadn’t had Indian food before, and the server went out of her way to make them feel welcome. I had the lamb vindaloo and it was excellent! We ate at dinner time on a Friday and it was not busy at all. Overall great experience. We’ll be back!
The customer service here was TOP TIER! Both host and hostess were very friendly and warm. They were attentive to our needs. Went above and beyond on serving. We will definitely be coming back here again. And the food was AMAZING! I’d definitely recommend the chicken curry. VEEEEERY FLAVORFUL
First time trying Layla's Kitchen. Love Indian/Nepali food, so always up for a new place. We started with the Chapotee (see pic). Spiced puffed rice mixed with diced vegetables and cilantro, and many spices and other things that worked perfectly together. Super flavorful and refreshing. Had the Tikka Masala. Very flavorful, super rich, and not too thick. The nan was thin, which l liked because I didn't get too filled up with the bread. Ended with these small fried dough balls soaked in sweet honey sauce. Perfect way to end the meal. We will be back!
I had the Chicken Korma with Garlic Naan Bread. Delicate flavours and heat was just perfect.
Chicken was super tender and cashews added an extra flavourful layer to the dish.
Very quiet and peaceful, great for a small getogether or gathering. The service was amazing the servers had great jokes and were always checking up on you. The food tasted amazing and would definitely come back here in the nearby future!!
We traveled over an hour to come to Columbus and didn’t know where to eat. He randomly picked this place because we love Indian food. Let me tell you, he chose amazingly well. We loved every bite. We had vegetable korma and aloo gobi. We had two appetizers (samosas and vegetable pakura) and two orders of naan. We love meat but love vegetarian Indian food. All of this for $36 and we had leftovers to take home.
Needless to say we are fans and hope to make a special trip at least once a month to enjoy this amazing food.
Did I say amazing enough times? You will not be disappointed.
Oh, and because I’m a little bit of a wimp, I love that they let you choose your heat level. 3 was perfect for me, 6 1/2 for the hubby.
Layla’s kitchen has the best food in town. Each dish has its own delicious flavor. Staff is friendly and even helped me get my large order out to my car. The chai is perfect!
I got goat briyani, Khasi Ko Tass a nepali goat dish, samosa’s, and a chicken masala indian grilled cheese sandwich. Briyani was great very well balanced flavors and not too spicy the meat was also very tender, the nepali fried goat dish was pretty good a little dry I’ve never had this dish before and it reminded me of lamb jerky the flavor was decent. I’ve had better samosas but can’t beat the price, everything was really affordable! 2 entrees 2 appetizers and a sandwich for less than $45!!
