Great service great food. This is my first visit so I had no idea what I should order. My waiter was very helpful. I wanted to try a boil, so I chose the smallest one that they had. The freshness and quality was excellent.
someone had recommended that I try their lobster bisque, and in my opinion, it was the best lobster bisque I have ever had. I have now tried the new England clam chowder; wow. On my next visit, I will try some other items on their menu.
I also really like their house salad.
Did I mention they have cheesecake. I was not planning on desert, but I could not turn that down. It was really good.
This is a Pepsi place
Lee’s is the best seafood boil. The flavors of sauces they have are the best options I’ve seen. Some restaurants don’t let you add on extra corn and potato. Lee’s does. They cook their corn right too.
Lee's has amazing food, Staff is super friendly and helpful. The only downside is the music in the restaurant is very loud and to have a conversation you have to speak loudly. The lobster bisque is unmatched. Highly recommend. Overall dining experience was great.
I love this place! Them garlic noodles
I have had seafood in Miami, Tulum, Dallas, LA, Chicago and Houston and this place tasted so much better than all them other places.
I love crab and lobster
Shrimp good
Mussels AMAZING!
Great service
Absolutely loved this place. To start off, we got the Raw oysters (dozen) and 'Appetizer sampler' which had Shrimp, Oyster, Calamari, and Wings. Both plates were really good.
For the entree we got 'The Ultimate' with Cajun Calamari, homemade juicy sauce and without the sausage. We also got the Blue crab with Garlic butter sauce. That was enough for 4 people. We asked both to be extra spicy and it sure was! The homemade sauce was really good and totally recommended. You can add more corn or potatoes in the bag if you feel it's not enough.
We were a party of 5, and one person got the Chicken pasta Marinara, but that tasted too saucy.
The food was great and it was a nice experience. Our waitress was a bit rude but I don't think she realized it! Would definitely come back for the food.
This was THE BEST seafood dining experience I've ever had. The place was very clean and our server Hannah was amazing!!! I had the fried catfish po boy and the hush puppies and when I tell you this tasted JUST LIKE THE SOUTH, IT MOST DEFINITELY TASTED JUST LIKE THE SOUTH. I often travel to Tennesse and Mississippi and the food is usually more heartier, comforting, and delish in the south however, THIS PLACE HITS THE NAIL ON THE HEAD when it comes to getting that same southern cuisine taste. The cajun fries were some of the best and not only was the portion size of the seafood boil bag was OUT OF THIS WORLD, but the taste of the boiled, crawfish, crab, corn, and potatoes that were also in the bag. The vibe of the place was amazing all the way down to the music selection and the movies that were playing on the TV screen. This will be my new favorite spot to eat in Columbus!!
We eyeballed Lee's for months, assuming it was a typical southern seafood joint. We finally caved and hit it for a late dinner. Be prepared for a total surprise - that tiny assuming strip mall store front hides one of the most original dining rooms you'll ever see! The next surprise comes with the food, it has a touch of Asian fusion which adds a slight variation to standard seafood spots. They have a big menu with lots of options. We went for the crab boil, lobster bisque, and garlic cheese bread with dipping sauce. Everything was tasty but slightly sweeter than most places. Prices fair except for the tiny soup portion which also contained imitation lobster. Our boil was average and on the small side compared to other boils. Will swap the house sauce for garlic butter if we order it again.
Service was very slow but our waitress was friendly, though she spent more time talking at the bar than making sure we had what we needed. Atmosphere is loudish and lively but also clean and casual. We're really looking forward to coming back and trying the regular dishes like fried softshell crab, their fried fish baskets looked amazing!
We have been to the place since they opened and Its sad that I am just posting a review just now. Their garlic butter crabs and shrimp is to die for, Go Big! I lb per person is ideal for me. Enjoy!!!
Always delicious 🤤 we got two bags!
Amazing food, but be ready to get dirty!! This place it mainly finger food! Way too many options, ive been here several times and still haven't tried everything I want to try!
I love the bag we always order $50+ good for me and my hubby, its quite expensive but its nice if you have someone to share with, love the medium spicy garlic sauce. I have been to this place twice and so far what I notice is the wait for the food after ordering is like 30+ minutes or more specially if you have a big group, you need to check your order coz on my 2nd visit they forget some of the order like extra rice or sauce but however staff are wonderful and helpful, I love this place so definitely I will be coming back!
This was my first visit at Boiling Seafood Crawfish. The service was good- borderline great. The place was nice looking inside as well as the atmosphere. There’s a nice size outdoor patio’ish area that is probably nice to sit at on a beautiful day. My husband and I didn’t sit out there because he kind of doesn’t like sitting outside when eating.
I specifically came here to compare their Fried Green Tomatoes to a place I go to in Richmond Hill, GA called Melody’s Coastal Cafe and to compare their Shrimp & Grits to both Pappadeaux in Springdale, Oh & Norcross, GA. Starting with their Shrimp & Grits...it’s definitely different in all aspects. It’s red in color (the grits itself and not just from the seasoning juices). It’s served in a very small dish w/medium sizes shrimp and not much of anything else such as sausages and vegetables. I wish I would have thought to take pictures of it. I will say though, the consistency of the grits was nice. The seasoning was okay but not what I expected.
The Fried Green Tomatoes were okay. I say that because they are nice in size- both thickness and circumference. However, it didn’t have enough batter to tomato ratio; though, the batter was very good. The tomatoes are served with basic ranch dressing. The Fried Green Tomatoes come with (2) sides...I choose their house salad (not so good at all), which could have been an isolated incident and I had a bake potato w/cheese & sour cream (also not so great).
My husband order The Experience: The Ultimate. Now, that was very good. The calamari was breaded, seasoned and cooked perfectly. There was huge crawfish and large shrimp in it and the seasoning was pretty good too.
I most likely will go back and get the Templation by the Pound- shrimp w/o the head. Overall it was an okay experience.
We got The Ultimate experience and it was a good amount of food! For 4 people, it was a good value. Not the best seafood I've had, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.
We ordered take out and it was still hot when delivered. The Mild spice level is still too spicy for kids btw.
Amazingly fresh. Sweet and fresh oysters on the half shell. Total shocker. Ordered two dozen. Huge crawfish that reminded me of New Orleans. PoBoy was made to my liking with shrimp and catfish. Was delish. All four of us were already planning our return trip halfway through our meal. Kudos and thanks for a very refreshing meal.
I had a patron margarita and a sea food boil with shrimp, potatoes, corn on the cob, 1 boiled egg and 1 lobster tail. I really liked my drinks and the atmosphere the food was ok.
Really, really good! We got the house special sauce, in the highest spice level. I generally can handle very spicy food, but the highest level here was definitely a challenge. But it was completely worth it. They have lower levels too if you aren’t feeling too adventurous.
Will be coming here again.
