Delicious breakfast sandwich! Griddle muffin (yum) with house-made sausage (yum), egg, and cheese. Locally roasted Thunderkiss coffee is the perfect beverage to go with it. Caroline and Dan have created a wonderful, cozy little spot for the SoHud neighborhood.

Baba's just catered a brunch event for 80 people at my home - and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every ounce was scratch made by Chef Dan, and every item was more delicious than the next. Sandwiches, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, the list goes on and on. Our guests absolutely raved about the food, and several are already reaching out to hire Baba's for their events this summer. Caroline and Dan are the kindest, easiest business owners to work with, and truly partnered with us to create a custom menu that brought our vision to life. I will never call another caterer again, as long as Chef Dan and Caroline are in business!

Amazing food & coffee prepared by amazing people. Every time I've been there the owners & staff engage everyone that walks through the doors well beyond just taking their orders.

Baba's is awesome. If you have not stopped in yet, you should. The cinnamon rolls are awesome, the smoked pork loin is to die for, and if you can get your hands on the house made bacon, just consider yourself lucky.

One of my favorites! Don't mess around with decisions. Just go in and say "give me a plate".

Rotating selection for their breakfast and the best coffee in the Washington Beach neighborhood. They are only open specific hours. Plan accordingly.

Breakfast sandwich with sausage on griddle muffin was outstanding. So was today's zucchini/carrot bread. Service is friendly, helpful, generous and wonderful. Thank you, Caroline!

The friendly gentlemen behind the counter really know how to make a burger! The biscuits they use for the buns were a great twist, especially with my added egg and bacon. Very generous on the bacon as well! I will definitely be returning!

Baba's is the right place in the right space. The food is modern comfort food that is freshly prepared, hearty and delicious. The spaces is located in the SoHo area of the city and is a great place for coffee and a quick bite. If you wants something tasty in a laid-back environment, give Baba's a visit!

The chorizo here is robust. Judging from the past, I'd say they make it in-house. But I can't say for sure. Doesn't matter. It's damn good. Social norms are the only thing that stop me from asking for two more pieces of chorizo to sandwich my chorizo breakfast sandwich between. But everything is good here. You can certainly tell that the people who run this place love what they do. Go here. Go often. Tip well.

Love the laid back environment inside and always friendly staff. Solid coffee, vegetarian options, and reasonable prices make it a go-to place to get work done or meet up with friends.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite Saturday afternoon. We loved both sandwiches we ordered, the bread they make is amazing! I really enjoyed their cold brew coffee, it had such a great flavor and wasn't bitter like some cold brews can be. The guys were super friendly, informative, and offered fantastic costumer service. We will be sure to come back here again the next time we are in Columbus!

Tried this place today and had a wonderful experience. The vibe in the place is fantastic, I heard some music I hadn't heard in a long time. The guy working at the counter was very friendly. I had the diner burger and fries, both tasted very good. The buns they make are very unique, I enjoyed it greatly! I would definitely go back. The price isn't fast food prices but also not expensive, I paid $10 for a good sandwich and fries, I can live with that. I didn't try the coffee however, I've had Thunderkiss Coffee before and I enjoy it, they make good beans. Worth a shot! Great little lunch place for 2.

Such a great experience! From the moment you step in you feel like you might have entered into a very nice lounge bar. Was greeted warmly as soon as i stepped in and after taking the breakfast recommendation I enjoyed everything about this restaurant especially the fun artwork! The bathroom believe it or not is hilarious just wait and see and yes its clean! Fresh food, delicious baked goods and great coffee!

What an amazing small shoppe. I love how clean and well kept this restaurant is. I went in for the first time today and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although I am currently on a clinical diet, they obliged and made me a meal of eggs, bacon, some veggies, and this amazing sauce. I don't know what they cooked for me, but the staff really hit the nail on the head. The tea was top notch and delicious--didn't even need sweetener. I love the small, cozy layout and its convenient location. I wish I had taken pictures because I would love to have a similar look in my art studio! I'll just have to go back and hope I don't get too distracted by their amazing foods again!

Such a wonderful experience! I didn't get the name of the girl who helped us, she was short and had arm tattoos. She was so sweet and helpful. The breakfast sandwich and inside-out grilled cheese were delicious. I took a cinnamon roll and latte home to my boyfriend, who devoured them both, so I'm guessing they were delicious as well. The space was unique and cozy, I will definitely be back!

Food is delicious - freshly prepared by a creative chef. There’s nothing here that disappoints. Highly recommend the cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches, and the evolved plate. I didn’t just name 90% of their menu by circumstance, it’s just that damn good. Eat up.

The cabbage plate is unique and tasty. If you like cabbage, you have to give this place a try. Also, the sweet tea is good. Not too sweet, just enough to pair with the veggies on the cabbage plate. Service here is good. Great staff.

Pleasant local breakfast spot. Menu is limited to breakfast sandwiches and coffee, but the sandwiches are top notch, all house-made. We had the homemade sausage sandwich and cinnamon roll. Great coffee and quaint decor. Definitely a welcome addition to our neighborhood.

This place is needed in this part of town. They also have my favorite coffee (thunderkiss). I tried a sausage breakfast sandwich and the sausage was amazing, I can't even describe how good it was accurately. Also everyone there was really friendly and helpful. Not every restaurant that has good food in this town will be as welcoming and kind as this place was, and that will keep you coming back.

Originally, I gave a four-star review. That was a mistake. The amount of times that I have been back is evidence alone that this place is worth five stars. Admittedly, I wasn't a huge fan of the chorizo. It was definitely good, but the sausage is amazing. And it's been amazing every time I've had it. Plus, the staff are nice and friendly, and that is always appreciated.

What do I do on Saturday mornings? I grab a book and walk to Baba’s for great coffee + a sausage breakfast sandwich. This place rules. Delicious food + equally great people. We’re really lucky to have this place in Old North. If you’re looking for a family owned, cool breakfast experience - look no further.

Best coffee around campus. Cute little place with very good breakfast sandwiches - they feel just a little expensive, but the quality of ingredients makes up for it. The other items on the menu are somewhat random, but I like their style. I hit them up for a cold brew almost daily!
