Nice little quaint restaurant. We were the first customers of the day. Best thing to get is definitely the “Flight” you get to pick 3 half orders of an item. The reason I gave 4 stars ✨ is due to fruit not being fresh and chicken-n-waffles were dry. The woman at the counter was were nice and did fix the fruit problem. Due to the place being so small I would recommend that you go early to get a table.
Delicious. What a great spin on the Belgian wafel. Toppings that you never thought would go well together create an explosion of flavor in your mouth. Convenient parking garage next door. Service with a smile even though there is a line out the door. Seating is limited but quaint. Loved it!
Cute, quaint bistro! Food was good. We tried “Flights” which I highly recommend if you’re looking to try multiple flavors for the first time. You choose 3 halves of any on the menu. Bacon basil Brie is the best! I only gave 4 stars because: Chicken n Wafel was dry so recommend extra maple syrup on the side. The fruit looked days old but they quickly resolved with a fresh bowl.
The waffles are good! It's a nice little place but a little expensive, probably due to being located in the short north. Seating is limited too and it can get a little crowded. But overall a positive experience! Try the hash browns!
Love this place! Crunchy waffles topped with fresh ingredients, beautifully plated. Casual seating. Seats about 30 people, including shared coutertop with stools. friendly staff.
I've been wanting to visit this wafel place place for a while now. I arrived around 10:45 and there was no wait. 😁 I couldn't decide what to order so the gentleman suggested I try the flight. I chose the Bourbon BBQ Pork Duo, S'mores, and Lemon Créme & Berries wafels. The food was ready within 15 minutes and it was SO GOOD. 😍 The BBQ pork wafel was my favorite. I definitely plan to come here again.
Fantastic Belgian wafels done up & fancied into a full meal. Tried about a half a dozen between 3 of us. The balsamic chicken was the favorite savory and the Elvis was the favorite sweet. High end local cold brew coffee on tap, what could be better? How about a vegan/gluten free wafel that tastes better than the original...THAT'S what makes this place 5 stars.
Was excited to try this little place out today, and was impressed when I left. Great little Short North breakfast gem. Landed on the wafel flight with the yogurt and granola as my side... I went for the S'mores, Salted Chocolate Carmel and the Bourbon BBQ Pork Duo. Fantastic, each!
Wow....just opened today. My lemon waffle was great and the side of bacon amazing. Even the drip coffee was top notch. Will be back.
The food and service were excellent. We both ordered flights of different waffles and all 6 were delicious and reasonably priced (it looks like a better deal to get the flight than just a single waffle). It was busy, but the food came out reasonably quick. Minor suggestion to the owners: investigate something to improve the acoustics in the room. Quieting down the space a little should improve the experience for the customers and prevent the staff from going deaf on busy weekend mornings.
Waffles are unique but the flavors are hit or miss. We got 2 flights and my favorite was the berries and cream, none of the others were worth it. The cold brew was not worth it for $5. Trendy atmosphere and good location.
The consistency and flavor of the waffles (sweet and savory) is exactly what I was looking for. Unique menu options are complimented with hearty ingredients. The flavors and presentation far outweigh the shortcomings: fruit on the side came out frozen. The “flight” portions are exceptionally small (somewhere between a chicken nugget and a hockey puck), but the overall size of the tasting dish, with a side, is filling enough to satisfy a grown man. The prices are a bit on the high end, and syrup (requested for the “original” waffle, served naked) is extra. Certain savory menu items are not available before 11, without indication until your order is placed.
Definitely will be back.
This quaint little eatery was a pleasant surprise during my visit to Columbus. As soon as I learned there was a restaurant nearby that specialized entirely in waffles, I knew I had to try it, and it definitely delivered on the promise. My waffle topped with lemon zest, blueberries, and whipped cream was delicious, and the side items and churros are a nice way to round out the meal. The portions are on the small side considering the price, but I would still recommend it to anyone looking for some good breakfast food in a chill environment.
Great wafels. Fast and friendly service. Big selection. Drinks could be better. Wonderful ambiance. Had a great time.
