Like the food but the staff can be rude and they are always trying to close the restaurant a half hour early. Food is very inconsistent on how it's made.
I came here for lunch with my family on Thursday, August 17th. The Italian Stromboli here is amazing! The lady taking our order was very nice, but the service was oddly slow; there weren't too many other customers in the establishment, and it still took 20-25 minutes for our food to get served. Regardless, food was relatively inexpensive and super delicious!
I recently dined at WG Grinders, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff making me feel right at home. The facilities were impressively clean and tidy, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the turkey grinder with a side of pasta salad, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were on point, and the portion size left me satisfied. Even though this location is a bit far from where I live, my experience has definitely encouraged me to visit another WG Grinders closer to home. If I find myself in the area again, I will undoubtedly be back for another delightful meal.
Y.U.M! Such a gem of a spot! It’s too bad that some of these have been shutting down recently. This restaurant takes the sandwich game up a notch! The bread is fresh, soft, and oh so delicious! The side choices are plentiful as well. The cheddar mac is a fav and the pasta salad is great too. Excellent service and the place is very clean. Prices are great too.
Quality sandwiches and pasta. Much better than Subway, similarly priced. Order is always correct, staff is always friendly. Try the veggie grinder, and pasta salad! Best veggie sub around.
I moved to Arizona a few years ago. Arizonans do not know how to make a grinder. I had to come back to Ohio just to come to WG Grinders. It did not disappoint. Yum!
Food is decent. Service is meh. Why answer the phone and then put someone on hold long enough that it's past the deadline to place an order? I get that you don't want a bunch of orders right before closing. Closing time isn't the end of the shift, it's the start of clean up/closing so many business take business up until close. Oh well.
Just had the Chicken Parmesan Stromboli for lunch today and it was an 11 out of 10! Absolutely perfect and delicious!
Lack of consistency is a major issue for me. I often get the same things at numerous restaurants, so when we decide to go there, I know what I'm getting and I know what it's going to be like. To be inconsistent is a HUGE let down. This location is ALWAYS spot-on. I recommend the club with horseradish mayo instead of regular and a house side salad, while my wife always gets the chicken cordon bleu and their AMAZING cheddar macaroni salad!
I always order the pizza grinder and it was delicious as always. The guy who runs this place is so nice and I saw him walking and older lady out to her car with an umbrella because it was raining. So nice and friendly. The food here is great, you have to try the toffee chocolate chip cookies, and they are only $1 each.
We got sandwiches, calzone, desserts, and the ranch pasta salad. The sandwiches had super fresh vegetables and meats on them, great size for the price, and amazing taste! The calzone was better than most pizza joints around here!! Can’t stress enough, how DELICIOUS the calzone was. Crispy, cheesy, flavorful, and hot when picked up! Pasta salad maybe needed a little more flavor, but everything else was super spot on. VERY IMPRESSED!

I placed a large catering order and the manager, Jason, was on top of everything! The order was ready when promised, the food was fresh and fantastic, he fulfilled every special dietary preference, and there wasn't a single mistake. VERY impressed! Well done Jason and the rest of your team!
This is the only W.G. Grinders worth visiting in my opinion, the staff is pleasant every time I visit, but the seem to be the only location left which is making quality food. My last visit in particular, they went above and beyond to work with my dietary restrictions (pregnancy) so that I could still get my favorite sub. If you decide to visit, try the cheddar mac, it's great.
Tasty 6 inch sub sandwiches for about $6! This place is a deal, and the food is really good too. The subs are made on dough that is then freshly cooked and handed to you. Delicious and hot!
