Connecting Grounds is a coffee shop in a hub of learning, so it makes sense that is is fairly accessible. I was impressed by the amount of space inside, which is good for those with physical disabilities. There was also a wheelchair button on the outside of the main entrance. The large windows and comfortable noise level of the interior made it a relatively peaceful location to visit, which benefits those with sensory issues or mental health issues. There were also multiple accessible trashcans. The in-person digital ordering machine was on a lower counter, which makes it more accessible as well. There is also a secondary exit which limits foot traffic and crowdedness. However, there were some small issues. The chairs in the seating area are a bit close together, which might be difficult for those with mobility issues. I also could not find a wheelchair button on the inside of the main entrance, and the doors can be difficult to push open on particularly windy days. If there is one on the inside, it is not easy to find. The pillar in the main area might be difficult to navigate around and makes the space a little more narrow in that area as well. The counter on which orders are placed is a little high but there are lower counters too. All in all, it was a nice experience.

This is your average coffee experience on campus. The oversized chairs and being connected to a campus convenience store makes this campus coffee shop stand out. However, they recently added nitro cold be to their menu. It comes in a super small cup, and that's the only size the sell it in for like $4! Very disappointed.
