After a bad experience this morning with the WH on Buena Vista Rd, I came here. Even tho they were short staffed, I received the BEST service. I did thank them & told them the accommodations were phenomenal. This is what Customer Service is about. I been in CS for over 10yrs, so I GET IT
I was there on 12/20 around lunchtime. I received my eggs a little less cooked than over medium but it was still good. I was accidentally splashed with water, no big deal. Ashley more than made up for it though by providing great customer service. She kept my coffee cup full and checked on me often. I thank her for an excellent customer service experience.
I've been to WaHo quite a bit in my lifetime and I have to say that I have the most consistently-positive experiences at this location. The staff is almost always on the ball and friendly and you'll get appropriately-prepared meals, too. This location gets paricularly busy late nights on holidays and weekends, so plan accordingly.

Waffle House should consider drive through’s and expanding the coffee line like Starbucks.
Stayed at the Days Inn across the street. This is the first Waffle House I’ve been to that was ran by ALL WOMEN & let me tell you the food was outstanding. I feel like grits are always hit or miss anywhere you go, but everything I ordered was SPOT ON. I didn’t have to add a drop of salt, pepper, or ketchup to anything. My server was Lakendra* might not be her name lol, but she came to me as soon as I sat down and had me put the door with my order super quick. Made my morning especially coming all the way from Japan and not having Waffle House in a while.

Great food. Quick service in person. I called off and on for over 30 minutes to place a to go order. Got the voice recording that the store was busy and not taking orders over the phone. It was 8ish on a Friday night so I could see where they might be busy so decided to go the restaurant to order. Upon arriving there were no cars in the parking lot and 4 employees sitting at a booth doing nothing. There were no customers they were helping as the Waffle House was empty besides them. Questioned why they were not answering the phone for to go orders and was told their phone has not rung. Only 2 of the 4 got up to help me. One to take my order and the other to cook. As I waiting for my food several others came in complaining about not being able to place to go orders on the phone. Two different groups decided to eat in and sat at booths but only 2 people of the 4 worked the entire time I was waiting on my order. This experience made it hard to be as friendly to the waitress as I normally am because I do appreciate those that show up to work but this group should have stayed home as they didn't want to work.
