J Lemon Peppet has the most reasonable lunch menu, the food is always made to order , which is always hot fresh and delicious! The staff is outstanding, always friendly and you will receive service with a smile.
I love the catfish and shrimp lunch special , the catfish and shrimp is fried to perfection, also the shrimp are a nice size.
The only suggestion if you are going for lunch order ahead for two reasons, Hamilton Road is a hot mess due to construction, and lunch time is busy!
I just tried J Lemon Pepper Fish for the 1st time. Oh My! I had the catfish and shrimp. Loved, loved, loved the catfish. Not greasy, lightly breaded and fresh. It was delicious. You are my new favorite place for fish. I can not wait to try your other menu items.
Great prices, great service, delicious and perfectly cooked food. This place slaps. It is on point. They do good and there are a decent amount of choices on their menu. The establishment appeared clean and well ran. The owner here should be proud. I will be returning. I also liked the lemonade a lot. It was really good.
I loooooove the ogi sauce!!! It's good on everything. I always get extra. I haven't ever been disappointed here. I always get jumbo shrimp and wings or tenders and shrimp. It seems like everything is made to order, which is MUCH appreciated.
Pro Tip: ventilate the container so your food stays crispy if you're taking out.
The only reason they don't get a 5. Is their fries are not good at all. And they must not make them fresh like the meat is dropped when ordered. But I still eat there. They have good corn on the cob too.
