We had a wonderful experience here.
We had just driven in to the town, and wanted a place to eat, and just walked in here.
They were closed for a private event, but Cathy and wade, the owners extended a very warm welcome to us.
We went back 3 evenings in total, and we're always welcomed with Cathy and wades warm smiles.
The steak night on Friday evenings is awesome. Cathy's steak sauce is sublime.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! My goodness! The food is outstanding and exceptional! I will come again and again and AGAIN! Their sandwiches are made with so much love—I recommend the Niki ! Friday night steak night is my FAVORITE! Their steaks are all hand cut by the owner and taste amazing! I love having dates here with my husband. We make sure to call and reserve ahead of time!!!! The wine bar is also very elegant and makes me feel at home. It’s very cozy and relaxing! This is a hidden gem in the Texas Hill Country!
First time visiting and went on Friday night for steak night. It is probably advised to call ahead to ensure availability, but the steaks were amazing!!! We chose to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful evening and live music! Definitely will be coming back!!!
The food here is amazing. They have delicious house made chips & the rueben is one of my favorites Ive ever had but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Food for the soul is owned and operated by two very hard working, loving & good people who care about their customers experience. Highly recommend
We enjoyed sausage sandwiches last Friday while listening to live music with Anthony Garcia out on the square. It was an amazing night with amazing friends, great food and the most fun we've had in years! Thank you Food for the Soul for offering these gifts to our community! We will definitely be back! :) Ren
Had a very nice lunch there for three of us. Club, Turkey and Chicken Salad sandwiches on toasted sourdough bread with a side of Cracked Chicken soup. It hit the spot and we will remember this place in the future.
