This is a great place for a delicious breakfast! We received very generous portions. I ordered the "Roasted Pecan Famous Cakes with Caramel Drizzle." They were fantastic!! The dining room is small, but the atmosphere is very friendly. After living in the area for two years and noticing how full the parking lot was every morning, we decided to stop. I'm so glad we did. We will definitely be back. Friendly staff, delicious food, and a clean dining room made for a great experience!

Stumbled upon this cozy little restaurant while looking for a place that served breakfast. Our meal was remarkably good and the staff were very friendly.

Awesome prices and great food. Just your better than average small town cafe. Very small tho so maybe a wait during summer

If you want the best pancakes in the world, this is the place. Thin and light. Very tasty. The rest of the food is great too, but I come for the pancakes.

So I have been going here for years with family and friends alike. Many summer mornings were started with my Grandfather dragging my teenage self out of bed with the promise of stuffed hashbrowns and bacon. The service is always great, the prices are out of this world great, and the food is just amazing. I suppose the only downside is it is very small, and on busy mornings you may find them a little backed up, or waiting for a seat. Other than that its a great restaurant.

This place is oh so tasty. My mom will send me a picture of her food when she goes there because it makes me so jealous. It's a tiny little place for people with big appetites. The half order of stuffed hash browns is too much for me to eat and I can eat a lot. So I love taking some home! I have heard that their corned beef hash was amazing as well, and I'm tempted to try it, but that would mean I didn't get my beloved stuffed hash browns at that visit. The owners are some of the best people you'll meet too!

Very small place but good food! This is the home of Parks Place Famous Pancakes. The pancakes are flat not fluffy and are very tasty. They have tiny holes in the pancakes that absorb all the syrup. Yummy! I had the Pow Wow and got 2 eggs scrambled, hash browns, one each bacon, sausage patty and one link, and ham, and 2 famous cakes. I'm so full! The bacon was done perfectly, crisp and not burnt. Very good sausage too. I would recommend trying Parks Place Cafe.

One of the best little breakfast cafes I have tried in recent years. Great food and local color provided by the old timers who start their laid back day. Nice view of Crooked Lake across the street. I had a traditional breakfast, but the cook has some chops and they offer above standard "fancy" cookin' too.

Awesome food! Bring your appetite because they are gonna fill your plate. I've yet to find anything on the menu short of absolutely delicious and their prices are very reasonable. Probably the best breakfast spot in northern Michigan.

Shocked I haven't reviewed yet. This place is by far the best breakfast place in Emmet County. Everything is fresh and delicious, the stuffed hashbrowns are to die for. Perfect hole in the wall feeling little cafe. Right on the shore of beautiful Crooked Lake. Check them out, go early though! In the summer they are ALWAYS packed.

One of my favorite breakfast places! The food here is always prepared fresh to order and the portions are very generous. As close as it gets to eating in your own kitchen with your own private chef....THAT good!!

Love this place! Great portion sizes. The smell back by the bathroom is the water. It's faint. The food is so good here! The staff are so funny and friendly. Better be quick or you won't find a table available... it's that popular.

Fantastic place right next to Crooked Lake. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious and at really excellent prices. We had the famous pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, rye toast, coffee, and hashbrowns. Would definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

WONDERFUL Food and service!!! If you're in Conway or Petoskey, this is a great breakfast place. Home cooked food, fast friendly service, and great value. We ate there 3 times. Easy to find. We walked from our condo at Inland House.

Stuffed hash brown special was dominant. My wife wasn’t as into her omelette as it appeared to be made with egg beaters or a liquid egg. Prices were fair and service was good. A true up north hole in the wall diner.

This place is baller. Don't go if you are expecting good coffee, but the food is dynamite! Stuffed hash browns are amazing, but really it's all good. And not an arm and a leg. This relic is worth a visit.
