Early morning Sunday and they are ready for business! I had 2 corn flour chicken empanadas. Soft yet crispy and light. Perfection!! My friend had the Shrimp and a Spinach and cheese. I had a taste it was verrry good! The green sauce is so good I need the recipe amazing! Can't wait to go back.
I like getting empanadas and shrimp tacos or their pechuga a la plancha.. really good! Their natural juices are good too. Overall you can’t go wrong, always ask for more green sauce cuz it’s fire
Don’t doubt this place, their food is amazing. The owner and cook are friendly and give excellent service.
Used to get delivery from here all the time, delicious food, great sauces, good prices..but I suppose our place was too far (2mile) so we stopped getting from them.
Edit: I wanted to expand on this. We stopped ordering not because we were 2mile away, but because they kept messing up the ordering some way and it felt deliberate after a certain point. 4 stars because food is good, but needed to clarify why we stopped ordering.
Ironically the empanadas are not the best I’ve had (they are still good) but let me tell you - every item on their menu is amazingly delicious!! And their shakes/batidos? THE BEST! They have never let me down since they opened. I’ve had their chimis, burgers, empanadas, salads and batidos all were amazing
I have ordered in multiple occasions the wait for the food is long but if you want something freshly cooked you need to give them the time to prepare it. The food has always been fresh and very good. I love their chicken tacos!!!!! My husbands always gets the loaded nachos and loves it. I recommend this restaurant

The Food here is great! They have improved the majority of their dishes and this is a go to spot for me. They have a bar style counter that is not too comfortable to sit in if you have long legs but do have a wall mounted table with stools that you can sit and are more comfortable to eat on. give them a try because the food is great!
Food prepared fresh, on the spot. Very good. I waited to get my order about 15 min or so. I don't give it a 5 star because there is no AC in the restaurant and today was a humid day. A little oily, but overall it taste very good. Also the server lady should shed a smile when serving.
Ordered a great amount of empanadas for a party I was having. The guests loved them, especially the shrimp ones. Service was good and timely and the presentation of the food was well put together. Would order again. Thank you!

So I’ve had a variety of food from the king, and it is all good! I’ve had fruit juices, the salmon, the pepper steak, various sandwiches, and the empanadas. All has come out great! The salmon, although cooked “Dominican style” still comes out juicy, tender, and like salmon that you’re used to in more westernized restaurants. The sauces that come with the empanadas could use a little more spice, but nothing a quick trip to Stephanie’s or the bodega can’t fix. The price is excellent for the quality/portions. The owner, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I don’t usually write reviews, but this is not a spot to be intimidated or worried about. High top counter seating only so be prepared if you’re drunk, or have the kiddos with you.
I dine in this great restaurant quite often! This is the best place to grab a bite. I visit this spot many times. The meals are just great, the crew is welcoming and the payment is affordable. I enjoy being in this restaurant over a decent lunch.
I enjoy this dinner the espanadas are so crispy and tasty Love every bite of it the only thing is that they don't give much of the sauce it comes with I wish they could give enough to finish up the food
