Not bad! Nice place on the water front. Food is good, staff is nice, and scenery is easy on the eyes. Road in is a little rough, and it is off the beaten path. Just watch out for the seagulls! They are brutal!
Eaten here a few times. Pros: staff has always been nice and responsive. Food is good and focussed on being a seafood restaurant. If you like eating outside the have a large outdoor patio area to eat. Cons: wish they had some kind of vegetable for a side. A little too much fried things on the menu but that could be a pro if you're in to that.
I will eat here again in the future.
Loved this place! It's a little off the beaten path but it is worth the trip. The food was amazing. The fish and shrimp were fresh, not overly battered, and not greasy or over-fried. Everything was executed so well, with so much flavor, all the way down to the hush-puppies. If I wasn't just traveling through I'd go again. Highly recommended you're looking for great seafood and would like a unique experience instead a cookie-cutter chain restaurant experience.
Food was good. Service slow. Limitations on mixed drinks since they will be closing in last than a month. All in all a nice evening out with friends.
I came here 10 years ago and was not impressed. Had not been back since until recently. Well, I change my mind. The service and food was great. Decent beer to chose from. The outside area was nice to dine in. Lucky for us the weather was perfect.
Our food came out very fast. I️ ordered the coconut shrimp basket which was very good. We will can’t wait to visit again. The service was also great. Our drinks were always full and our waitress was great about bringing condiments out before we even had to request them.
The food is amazing and well priced! They have the biggest shrimp I've ever seen at a restaurant and everything is freshly caught. The calamari was juicy and crunchy. The fish is also nicely flavored and battered. Their coleslaw and sweet potato fries are made in house. The atmosphere inside is small but cozy. The atmosphere outside is coastal and relaxing. It was so nice to watch people coming in and out of the marina on their boats. The restaurant will cook your freshly caught fish if it is well gutted and cleaned. The waitstaff are very attentive but know how to give you space. Yes, some of the items do come in plastic containers but that's because you'll be taking half of it home with you for later since it's so filling. The food came out fast, I didn't spend more than 45 minutes here. I've been here on both a date and as a celebration lunch and both have been great experiences. You won't be disappointed!
The food was excellent and fresh. The service was slow, but they were very busy and seemingly understaffed. I love Laguna Reef; it is a must when visiting Corpus Christi!
After a day of fishing it was nice to bring in the fish we caught and have the staff cook the fish up for us. Was some of the best fresh seafood I've had! Look forward to going back!
