I absolutely love when I have an excuse for work to come down to corpus Christi. Aka sushi downtown, is one of my favorite must-go places. These pictures speak for itself. The mouth watering sushi is just delicious and I love the atmosphere in the servers are excellent
Everything was absolutely delicious. The wait staff was polite and professional and the food was delicious. My BIGGEST CRITICISM is whatever you are playing on that TV near the kitchen needs to change!! Seeing ground meat being ground up IS NOT APPETIZING!! It looks absolutely disgusting!! Play scenes from Japan or something else but not food prep videos. We don't want to see how the cow is butchered!! No need for that. Otherwise, I will go again! Great food! The house sake was great too!
Yellow tail collar and The Dinner Bento Box with steak. The owners are wonderful people, super friendly! They truly care about customer satisfaction. Try the Pineapple Sake-you won’t be disappointed!
Walked in to be greeted by a friendly host and once sat a woman came by which looked to be the owner but I’m not sure and she was very welcoming. I recommend a reservation but it was steady at the time so we were able to be sat. Everything was delightful and even the ambiance is beautiful. The servers name was Veronica and she was excellent. Definitely recommend.
Their chicken Katsu burger is to die for !!! It’s a perfect balance of spicy and crunch , highly recommend you get it!
Their beef bulgogi bowl is also really good, I’d just want more sauce on it . Presentation is very nice and so is the staff
The food and service here was incredible! I highly recommend the smoky mountain sushi roll and the bento box. Great value for the amount of food in the bento box.
I’m not from CC and I come here just for this place! The quality, attention to detail, balance of flavors, complexity yet simplicity, amazes me every time. If you’re a true sushi sashimi lover you absolutely must sit and enjoy the magic that appears before you from Jake! I’d go every week if I could. I’ve had some great sushi in my life and this is some of the best. Go, experience it for yourself and then tell your family and your friends!
This is a small place located in the heart of downtown. The sushi was good and the chef was helpful in offering choices. My waitress was quick but short and I’m glad the chef engaged and gave me some of the better choices to choose from. Overall I was pleased and would definitely come back again. The cucumber salad was delicious. Pricing was fair and portions were decent.
The ratings don't lie. I'm in town for a business conference and the sushi here is outstanding.
The Spider roll was the VIP. Fabulous flavor and flawless presentation.
My waiter, Gracie, was super attentive and fast!

The food is as excellent as the service. Very clean and inviting atmosphere and super friendly staff. The sushi took a little longer than normal to make but everything is premium seafood and worth the wait. Prices are very reasonable. I’ve paid double for sushi half as good in the past.
